Good article. Rushing to ride is also not just about fuel but also about properly checking your bike, tire pressures, fluids, controls, etc, and taking the time to properly gear up. It also means ensuring your mind is in the game as riding requires focus.

An excellent choice
I had originally installed a different set of Hwy pegs but was never totally thrilled with them. These Goldstrike Adjustable Hwy Pegs are a much more comfortable improvement than what I had previously installed. They look great too!

Software Update Available for 2018-2020 Gold Wings - Includes Android Auto & More

Some improvements but not enough
The July update brought some improvements to the Navigation software but not enough. Yes, it is nice to have Speed Limits posted but the map still lacks detail despite the choice of color schemes. I wish Honda would enlist the help of some other mapping software experts.

To each his own
I have had Mustang seats in the past and did the Wingsoft update on my stock 2018 GW Tour seat. This review inspired me to order the Corbin from Wingstuff. I find that the Corbin seat gives me just the right amount of support and padding that makes me smile, mile after mile. So to each his own. Not everyone likes a Corbin but Corbin was the right choice for me!

These Rear Fender Filler Strips were an easy install and actually do enhance the look of the bike. I don't know if they will reduce the amount of dirt collecting on the rear but time will tell. All things considered, it's still a good visual enhancement.

This is just a little subtle bling that is tastefully done. The only drawback is trying to get it perfectly situated on the fender as the tape adheres quickly. Not bad for the $.

Bungee Seat Tie-Downs for 2018-19 Gold Wing

I installed these tie downs last year before a long trip. They really made it so much easier to strap down that extra bag on the rear seat. This year, however, I replaced my seat with a Corbin and found that the tie downs slightly interfered with the Corbin installation. I had to elongate the holes in the brackets to move them over just a bit to accommodate the new seat. Otherwise, they were perfect.

I decided in this lovely year of Covid-19 that I would invest in my bike as that was the main means of my vacation fun. I took the iterative step of first replacing the handlebars with the Horizon SST Adjustable Helibars. Next I changed the seat to a Corbin saddle, and added the Rider backrest and passenger backrest. Finally, I added these 3-Way Adjustable Highway Pegs. The pegs are fantastic! They just assume a natural position and provide that final layer of comfort that keep me smiling mile after mile. These pegs completed the puzzle of making my bike into the most comfortable set up for me.

While I still had the OEM seat, I decided to purchase the Utopia Driver Backrest before heading out on a cross country trip. The backrest really helped with the comfort factor and helped to make the ride all the more enjoyable. The pouch behind the backrest was also a convenient place to store some extra items.

I was hesitant to purchase the Corbin saddle as I read so many conflicting reviews from various people. The review from Rick was very helpful. For me, I find the seat gives me exactly the amount of support and comfort I was looking for. (I imagine sitting in a baseball glove with just the right amount of padding.) The firmness gives support without feeling too hard. I have spent quite a few hours in the Corbin saddle and it just keeps getting better! I also think it is the best looking saddle on the market.

I recently picked up this windproof jacket. While it is not insulated, it is quite comforatble, stylish, and it does block the wing. It's a great to have it as an emergency jacket on the bike. I normally wear an XL and the XL fit me just fine.
