5 stars: Easy to mount on Honda seat and provides good support to your lower back. Quality is great and lives up to the reputation others have shared. Its pocket is a convenient storage location for gloves and glasses.
In my opinion this is one of the best back rests out there and the pouch behind the back rest is an added bonus. We used to have a 2016 Goldwing and my wife had those little pockets underneath the speakers to store, munchies, hair products, and whatever else lol. And with the new 2024 Goldwing, we lost those so this pouch on the back of the back rest is an added bonus. And as they say happy wife happy life.
I had one on my 2004 GL1800 and got one for my 2018 GL1800 DCT an WOW how sweet it is, along with the HELI BARS--SWEET SWEET SWEET-5 stars, love it for my back an my back loves me for it--
So far so good. Used Cruiseman and some other Youtubers for install instructions. Helped me learn some basics about the bike into the bargain. Fairly straightforward install.
Backrest is well made, nice solid feel to all parts and pieces. Finish is very good, comfort level is excellent. Fairly easy to adjust.

I had heard a lot of good things about this backrest, and I was not thrilled with the backrest that was already installed on my new to me GoldWing (2018). I purchased and installed the Utopia, and it was a very straightforward install. I have ridden about 500 miles with it so far, and I am pleased. I think at this point I have to get used to backrests. Once I do, I expect to be very pleased with it.
This is the third Utopia Backrest I have had. So yes I know they are great. Was easy install on 2019 Goldwing. Hopefully they will keep making this back rest for as long I keep riding.
