Factory OEM Brake Pads for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG03702

02.05.2013
It's not often that the factory part beats out ALL other aftermarket brands, but when it comes to Brake Pads, ONLY the Hondaline OEM pads will do the job.

I ride on the Gold Angels Motorcycle Drill Team, and the slow-speed maneuvers we have in our routine requires near-constant trail-braking to control the speed and maneuverability. This means we go through a lot of brake pads, and I can tell you from personal experience, aftermarket pads don't even hold a candle to the Hondaline pads.

In particular, stay away from EBC pads. They overheat very quickly, causing "Brake Fade" on the rear caliper which is extremely dangerous. I can ride 30-40 minutes on the practice field on Hondaline pads before needing to give my Goldwing a rest, but EBC pads cause brake fade at about 10-15 minutes.

Kuryakyn Armrest w/ Drink Holder for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU8991,   SKU: KU8991

This junk rusts out every year. I have tried everything to stop the rust with no luck. I complained to Kuryakan with no results. I cannot afford 200 plus dollars a year just to change armrests. Don't waste your money. I have changed them out three times and they still rust. How come the cheap plastic parts still look good and the expensive stuff looks bad?

Kruzer Kaddy Drink Holder
ITEM CODE: PG20116

02.04.2013
I bought this because it was pictured with the Rivco Armrests. The cup holder looks good but it is not of the best quality. It swivels and there isn't a way to tighten it to prevent it from happening. It finally fell off my bike while I was cruising one day. Fortunately it didn't do significant damage to my saddle bag (small scratch) but the holder itself was damaged and mounting hardware lost. I guess as it continued to swivel and I adjusted it, it became loose. I am very disappointed in this product and will not purchase again. 2 stars for looks only.

Bridgestone Tire COMBO for GL1800 G704/G709
ITEM CODE: WSBRCOMBO,   SKU: WSBRCOMBO

I bought this set last July and have been extremely satisfied. I put these on due to a poor performing set of E3's and you can certainly tell they are quite a bit quieter than the Dunlops. Have also noticed they seem to be a little softer compound and feel more responsive than the E3s. Ran 3 sets of E3s prior to these and I don't think I will be going back after having ridden these now. Only reason not a 5 star as I have not finished them off to see what kind of mileage I get out of them.

Chrome Fender Extender w/Rubber for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7352,   SKU: KU7352

02.03.2013
I added this to my 2012 GW to help cut down on the amount of cleaning/wiping on the lowers. Installation was easy. I did NOT remove the fender as the instructions suggests. Installation does require drilling two holes through the fender. I suggest using a 1/2" piece of wood to protect your front tire. This is one of those accessories that you will forget is even there, but will appreciate when you no longer have to clean the road crud from wheel splash. A must have if you want to preserve the beauty of your bike. This is NOT the fender extension the will crack your fender. That would be the longer, all chrome extension. Stay away from that model.....

Gen 2 Chrome Fork Brace for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7339,   SKU: KU7339

02.02.2013
After having put a fork brace and progressive spring on my 1500 and it becoming a brand new handling bike,, Adding it to my 1800 was a no thought requirement. Very easy install, it looks good and its a nice piece of chromed metal. I would be ashamed to this thing to loose it's glamor as someone else mentioned. As for performance, I will revisit after about 1500 miles. Why Honda doesn't put a fork brace on this bike I don't know.

LED Front Reflector Conversion for GL1800/F6B
ITEM CODE: KU7455,   SKU: KU7455

Well in looking at the recent reviews, Ernie from Lodi seems to have had the exact same experience and solutions.. I hardwired the pins to the connector and wrapped it real good with electrical tape so they wont come off. Then later found the connectors w/ the wire ties. Additionally, I had to drill out the whole in the cover with a 1/4' drill. The wires casing was just a little too thick in diameter. Other than that all was good. Nice light.

Kuryaukyn had their head on straight with this simple hookup item. Real helpful in leaving your knuckles and fingers unscarred after getting up into the fairing in those tight places.
