Trimming the behind
I needed something to help the back end catch up with the front of my bike as far as chrome. I found this and thought it would do the trick. It arrived and sure enough it did not fit the fender like others have experienced. I was also impressed with the heavy duty quality of this part. I wish more of the parts had this sturdiness to them. I was going to give this review a three but I have to go with a five because I called wingstuff customer support about the fit not even being close and they took care of me and sent out another one just like that with no issues. Now that is what I call customer support!!! This one fit closer but not like I am used to their products fitting perfectly on my 2003. I found the solution was to place a towel in a vise and clamp lightly both ends of the fender trim and slightly bend the ends. I placed it back on the fender and it fit perfect by just closing up that gap on both ends. The part looks great on so don't shy away from purchasing this one because you have the solution to a perfect fit my fellow wingers. |

Fit is POOR
Nice look for a chrome minimalist like me. Good heavy metal instead of ABS. Problem: The little bends that wrap around the side of the fender were not even close to fitting. I had to deflect each side of the plastic fender out 1/4" and clamp it for a day in hopes that it would hold. It didn't - the fender's desire to be its normal shape was stronger that the tape. The tape on the long back section seems rock solid. I hope it holds because it would be an ugly thing for the vehicle behind me for this to come off on the freeway. This is the first Kury product I have ever bought that didn't fit mint. |

Very nice
It looks great. But, on my '06 Wing, it was a little wider than my fender. Not really noticeable unless you look closely. |

Quality
This is a sturdy, good quality chromed metal piece. I had a plastic one before that snapped in 2 after a few months. This is a little too wide, I just slipped an extra pad of 3M tape on each end and it's still holding strong. |

nice touch
Really brightens up the ass end. I also lowered my license plate, so NEEDED something else to 'highlight' the tail area. This did it. Matches right in with all the other chrome back there. Install was ok. As people have mentioned, it seems a bit wider then THE fender. Nothing a little clamping effort can't remedy. Would do it again. |
