| I had these on my 2008 GoldWing GL 1800 and on my 2016 Goldwing Trike GL 1800. If my charging system goes out I want to know before I'm stranded somewhere, early warning is key. This little gauge can be hidden out of plain sight or put into full view. Install is simple using any power wire available and a good ground. Worth every penny! |

You need one of these
| I had this on my 2004 1800 and have now installed this one on my 2005 1800. On the 2004 I installed it down below on the left side of the handle bars. Only thing is I seldom ever glanced down there. I have this one installed on the lower right (below keyed pocket) in the blank space. I set it high up in that space as I will be putting a cigarette lighter in that space also. It adds a little flair to the black area and is easily seen at a glance. Just hook it to a live wire and to a ground and you are set to go. Has a double stick tape for attaching. |

Battery condition at a glance
| Easy to read in daylight or at night. Like just needing to take a quick glance and know all is OK. Have had this for 4 years, still working perfect. |

Not at all worth the money
| Lights are great, size is great for mounting anywhere. However, the first heavy dew will short this sucker out and your $$ are just gone. Was a waste of money for me. |

| I just installed the black one when I did my 12,000 mile servicing. Placed it just like in the picture. Easy to install. I used my circuit tester, found a hot wire with ignition on, pushed the wire in the back of the plug, and zip-tied it so it can't come out. Ran the ground to my new ground block I bought from Wing Stuff. Did I say it was easy to install? |

| Ordered the black one. Placed it in the fork well as others have. Did not have a problem with the numbers coming off. Did have problems finding something to wire it to as all the wires in the left pocket container were wrapped in electrical tape. Finally just spliced the two wires into the 2 wires of the accessory plug. I like being able to keep track of the charge of my battery as well as the charging system of my bike and this piece does the trick perfectly. Can't believe Honda didn't place a battery meter on the instrument panel. Oh well. |
