First Goldwing. Previously rode a 2006 CVO Electraglide. Also 5'5" and thought the glide would be to big. Thanks to Crofton Powersports for letting me try one. What a difference! I love this bike. Want to ride it all the time.

12V DC GL1800 Fairing Power Socket
ITEM CODE: HO08U55MCA101, SKU: HO08U55MCA101
|I gave it 4 stars because this should have been standard from the factory. Installation was simple. Drill at the x. Plug and play (at least on my 2012). Great directions. Was kinda bummed that it only had a 3 amp fuse. Can't really use it to charge your battery. Hopefully I'll find something to plug into it.
Fleece Lined Water Repellent Helmet Bag
ITEM CODE: WSHBAG, SKU: WSHBAG
|This is a great bag for the price and is quite a step above the usual helmet bag that most helmets are shipped with. Love the handles.
Universal Chrome LED Battery Guage
ITEM CODE: KU4219, SKU: KU4219
|Ordered the black one. Placed it in the fork well as others have. Did not have a problem with the numbers coming off. Did have problems finding something to wire it to as all the wires in the left pocket container were wrapped in electrical tape. Finally just spliced the two wires into the 2 wires of the accessory plug. I like being able to keep track of the charge of my battery as well as the charging system of my bike and this piece does the trick perfectly. Can't believe Honda didn't place a battery meter on the instrument panel. Oh well.
|A little pricey but the fit perfectly. They're also pretty thick, keep stuff from sliding around in the bags, and have that goldwing emblem on them. Nothing's to good for my bike.
Kuryakyn Heel Toe Shifter Kit for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU4039, SKU: KU4039
| I bought this because I traded my Electraglide in for the Wing and loved the heel toe shifter. I also don't like scuffing my boot toe. I chose not to go for floorboards because my riding position on the Wing places my feet a litte more to the rear than the Electraglide and I find it more comfortable to point my toes down slightly on the foot pegs. This kit solved my dilemma.
The installation was simple and involved taking the old footpeg plate of and replacing it with the Kuryakyn plate with the shifter mounted onto it. It was a tight fit to get to one of the hex head screws so I did put several pieces of black electrical tape on the shifter to keep from marring it.
My only complaint with this setup is that it's rather cramped shifting the toe as the shifter actually sits on top of the old shifter and as you can see it's right up against the rear of the valve cover. Now that I have been using it this doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. All in all, I love this product and am very happy with the quality of the shifter as I have been with most of Kuryakyn's products.
Ergo II Highway Pegs for GL1800 Gold Wing
ITEM CODE: KU4056, SKU: KU4056
|Kuryakyn produces some fine accessories for many bikes albeit some sketchy installation directions. I am visual and like pictures. Nevertheless, I read over the directions and played with the installation and got them on my bike in about 1 hour. The longest part was trying to figure out what position to tighten them at. These are good pegs and will accomodate shorter and taller riders. The are sharp looking and are well chromed. I also know that they will last as My last bike had a set of Kuryakyn pegs. Definitely would recommend these to anyone looking for a nice quality set of adjustable highway pegs.
