I tried replacing the footpeg mounts with chrome units and left the chrome mount off. That is a mistake. You need both to complete the look. These were easy to install and look great.
I place these covers in the "must have" category for those of us who like chrome on our wings. They transform the look of the bike. I had no problem with installation. I have had to remove the left side to get at the battery several times and the cover does not make the removal/replacement process any more cumbersome.
These are not as noticeable as you might think; but I still recommend them as a good accessory in the drive to chrome everything in sight on a wing. They fit well and were easy to install.
This accessory is functionally okay. But appearance wise, it is just not what you want on a Goldwing or other expensive bike. I replaced it with a different holder shortly after installing it.
This shifter cover extends the shifter peg just a little to make shifting a little easier. It also dresses up a part of the bike that is very bland.
This is a must have since it looks so much better than the standard black kickstand. Installation is easy.
These footpegs are of the expected quality from Kuryakyn. Installation is easy and the look is so much better than the OEM pegs.
Installed the Fender Tip today. It was a perfect fit and looks great. I'm not sure about the location of the 1/4 inch double sided tape that was installed I rubbed it with my nail and removed the film but at no time did it stick to anything during the install. Still a tight fit and gets a 5 star.

I never could adjust my set so it was comfortable and when I tried to adjust it it broke in the middle of the back and now I have no more device! Guess I have to look for another one that does the right job! |

To the reviewer who wants to wear a hat at 45 mph: buy a car! To all others, I have had this on my wing for 4 years and there are NO scrtaches. I have the vented one +2 at the lowest position and it works great. Just dont get scared if you put it on in your garage with flourescent lights. These lights make it look like there is a colored oil film on the shield! Out in the real world it is perfectly clear. Just a reaction with the flourescent lights that was confirmed by the manufacturer. |
This seems like a good deal for the money, however the front portion of the pan fits even worse than it shows in the picture. It does not line up with main pan at all and is very noticible. I just left the fron portion off.....
They go on easily and look OK. HOWEVER, they scratch VERY easily. You cannot even put on the side covers without scratching the chrome. Very soft. I just removed this weekend and went back to just the pivot covers and the "bare" frame. It looks better in my opinion and the frame does not sctrach like the soft chrome.
