GAME CHANGER!!!!! These mirrors are so amazing. The install could not be more simple. They give you much more vision of what is on the Side and Behind you. Lastly, they look is seamless unlike like convex dots that I had on the mirrors before. |
I gambled and bought these. They work great for my application. Just what the doctor ordered! |
Great Price, easy to install, sounds great |
The Goldstrike rear fender extension was super easy to install. Be very careful not to over tighten the screws into the plastic. If you are installing in conjunction with a trailer hitch, as I did, be sure to double the cutout you wish to use. It is at a weird angle. It looks great and seems very substantial. |
I bought these for my 2019 Tour model mainly for better tie down of my Saddleman bag and when I'm running in bagger mode. There is quite a decent +2" extension on these so there is plenty of room for strap pass throughs and hook points. I use the center stand most of the time and being 6' it's not a difficult lift but the extension makes it very easy to lift straight up. The slot for the helmet locking pin is also a little more roomier. Great Product for the earlier 2018+'s . |
I'm around 5'11" and purchased the 20" windshield. The windshield is nice and cleans as advertised (just paper towels and Windex). My main issue is with the windshield being extremely flimsy at around 60 mph. I have to keep the windshield down at it's lowest point due to how the windshield constantly shakes/vibrates (you will have to use the rubber stops provided from rubbing/hitting the side windshield plates). This is disappointing since I purchased the product to help deflect the rain here in Florida. Yes, I look through the windshield when it's raining . If I raise the windshield to the height needed, I get a lot of wind buffering on my helmet--even with the curved windshield. And with the vibration, it makes looking through the windshield very difficult. I will say the product looks very nice, but I'm actually considering putting the stock window back on. |
I installed this on the right side of my 2024 bagger. I have to admit I see why they call it a Big A$$ drink holder. I have a 24.oz cup I ride with but I've put a 40.oz in there just to see if it would fit. Yep it does, snug as bug in a rug !!!..Truthfully I got it because I didn't know how big of a cup I was going to ride with and I'm from the school of I rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Go for it, you won't be disappointed. |
I bought my 2018 DCT Touring with this installed. The guy I purchased it from was fairly short and smaller, he said he could not lift the bike on the stock center stand. I like the concept, it is nice to sit on the bike and then drive off when you are ready to go. BUT...I like to ride in the mountains and this stand scrapes the ground when you are into a tight corner with a little speed. I don't think the previous owner ever got into the twisties like I do, so he probably didn't know. I corrected this issue by cutting off part of the footer that makes contact with the road. I do not have any more issues with it scraping now. Again I like the drive-off ability, but I miss having the extra lift so I can spin my rear wheel to do maintenance or just to get the valve stem to rotate down so I can check air pressure. |
My wife loves the comfort pegs, however, in their current position they tend to get in the way of my big feet when getting on and off the bike. Also, they don't fold in close enough in the storage position so again they get in the way. They are however very well made as are all products I have purchased from Goldstrike. |
Kinda bummed. |
Bought this for my recently acquired 2009 Goldwing. Simple hookup...just remove the seat and drill a little hole in the rear top trunk. Plug and play! I didn't really purchase it for anything except the Bluetooth functionality, so I can't speak to the rest. But the Bluetooth works great. It allows you to use the handlebar controls to change the volume and track forward/back when streaming from your phone. Probably one of the biggest thing I like (over the cheaper Bluetooth adapters available online) is that it powers up and syncs also soon as you turn on the key and you don't have to sync it each time you start up the bike. |
A bit of a pain but I did not have to remove the entire front plastic. Just removed the two bolts and 5 clips along with the mirror and I had enough room to maneuver to drill the hole and reach in and get the supplied connector. Really great walking into the darkened garage and the bike lights up for me. Got to be the cheapest add to the new bike. |
