Can't ask for better.
Used these tires for the last 4 years and I won't use anything else. They hold the road in wet and dry conditions. They are priced at a great price. |

The Best Tires for the GL1800
I have tried every tire made for the GL1800, and for all-around quality the Bridgestones can't be beat. Metzelers come close, but they are noisy compared to Bridgestones, and they cost a lot more. Bridgestone tires are smoother-riding, and they last about as long as the pricier tires. I usually get about 10,000 miles on the rear, and 13 to 15,000 miles on the front. The best 'bang-for the buck' is from Bridgestone Exedras. |

Best tire for GL1800
I switched after running several sets of Dunlop, which is what my 2006 came with. The Dunlop always had cup ware pattern. I am on my 2nd set of Bridgestone. They have always wore smooth. They handle better on wet or dry, although I don't get any better mileage, approx. 25k. |

The better tire
My bike is an 02 and it came with the bridgestones, I've tried the e3's and went back to the stones. The bike seems to handle better especially in bad weather. I'll never switch again. It's bridgestones forever for me. |

good tires for the price
I got 14,000 miles out of my Dunlop e3's and only 12,000 out of the Bridgestones. Dunlops were $80.00 more and the Bridgestones were every bit as good, without the cupping that the E3's had. For the difference in mileage I think I will go with the Stones again. |

Well pleased to say the least.
I had a set of these Stones put on a pre-owned Goldwing GL1800 which I had owned for five months. It was like riding a brand new GW after the install. No more wobble at slow speeds, cornering is amazing and they're super smooth on the highway. I've put about 5,000 miles on them so far and no signs of wear visible at all. I'm yet to put them to the test under wet conditions but am confident that they will perform with flying colors. |

I need more mileage
I have had Metzlers come apart, Avon's bubble and I just got 3000 miles out of a set of Bridgestones. I know I an not the typical rider and the tires on my 1800 are lucky to make it 7000 miles. on my 1500 I could get closer to 10000 but more power means i shred them faster. I am amazed at the reviews of 15000 or 20000 miles. of course I had to replace my foot pegs at 15000 miles because there were ground down. Is there a better option or can I get a tire sponsor? buying tires every couple months gets expensive. |

Better than original Dunlops
I feel more secure with this brids than with the original dunlops which I felt were slipping (probably because they were 5 years old but just 7000 miles, tread was still ok). the brids Also feel softer. For me this tires are a very good Price performance choice... |

Great Tire
I have had Dunlop , Avon and one set of Bridgestones. The BS are the best by far in my opinion. Great mileage and handling from these things. As long as i own my wing ... these will be my tires. I pull a trailer 90% of time but i dont let it interfere with the way i ride. These things make for some great handling on wet or dry pavement. If you purchase these i doubt you will regret it. |

Great tires
I was experiencing a cupping problem with the Dunlaps along with a shake during braking, so I switch to the Bridgestones. Been very happy with them. Nice smooth ride, good corning and I'm getting good mileage out of them. Price is attractive too! I'd recommend these to any GL1800 rider. |

Not the best tire
In reading the reviews on these tires I am perplexed. These tires came as OEM on my 2012 Wing. The first thing I noticed was some steering wobble at lower speeds in the front at about 3k miles. I have a fork brace but it does not help the wobble. The second thing I noticed was a "whirring" type noise at 5k miles when leaning the bike left or right. At first I did not know where the whirring noise was coming from and read online that it could be the rear tire. The online blogs and my suspicion was confirmed today. I recently got a flat on the Blue Ridge Parkway from a large puncture in the rear tire. I had the rear tire replaced today with a new Bridgestone and the whirring noise is gone but I am sure it will be a matter of time before the noise returns. These tires are ok when they have low mileage and seem to handle well in the rain but my next set will not be these Bridgestone's that's for sure. |

Back to the OEM tires!
My 2003 Goldwing had Dunlop E3's and they were good but I find having these Bridgestone's to be more comfortable and relaxed on tight corners and in the rain. I am taking into account also that I got my E3's new and now I am comparing them to these Bridgestone's. I must also point out that I have Centramatic wheel discs (had them on the E3's first) and I am sure they account for the smoothness (i.e. no difference between the E3's and these tires). By the way, the price was much less than any other retailer and WingStuff, as usual, had them delivered in record time. After 3,000 miles on these new tires, they still show the rubber nubs not fully worn down and tire life will be interesting to monitor. A dealer refused to install my supplied tires here so I will never be going to buy anything from them. Make sure you have a motorcycle dealer who will mount your tires. I found it easier to bring the 2 rims and tires to the dealer. |
