I installed these on my 2007 wing and experienced the same favorable advantages that others have written about. When I installed the rubber bumpers I sprayed them and the hole with some "Original Spray Cleaner Polish" pn. TR530396 and they went through the hole fairly easily especially if I wiggled the bumper a little. The spray polish also works well to install and aids in removal of the side covers when sprayed on the rubber gromets. |

Installed these in accordance with the supplied instructions and had no trouble at all. Perfect fit! I might trim down a bit if the lid continues to be hard to close though. |

Installed these today and am happy with the finished product. Trimmed mine down almost 1/8" and it latches down nice now. Wouldn't latch on my bike at stock height. The actual height measurement on the bumpers I received was a full 9/16". I have a 2010 Goldwing. Be careful when drilling the back side holes so you don't hit the taillight. Plastic carves rather than dust when you drill it so I used a handful of drillbits working up to the 1/4" hole so I had a nice burr free hole. I spit on mine and pulled slightly underneath with a mini pliers and then carefully pushed the ridge on the top with a mini screwdriver. Went in fairly well. |

Was not happy (truthfully kind of pissed) with paint damage due to chaffing. Enter Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers! Easy to install (well they do resist a bit), template use is a must. Direction sheet says: requires drilling 1/4" diameter holes. If you drill a bigger hole to get them installed they WILL fall out. Actually used a numbered drill bit after using a micrometer to measure my set, and went 1 thousands under 1/4". Tried spit but WD40 worked much better. Did not trim bumper height, I just push down on the trunk lid a bit when opening. Been installed for over a year now, no more paint damage, no chaffing and no noise from hinges rattling over bumps even with trunk rack loaded. Why does Honda neglect the use of such an inexpensive item? |

Three of the Four fell off within the first month. The last one fell off a few weeks later. Now I have 4 holes on the trunk. Maybe they'll work for you, but they didnt do the job for me. Good Luck. |

They work good but had to trim them down. Trunk was too hard to open and close. I cut about a 1/16 out or less they work much better |

I installed them on a warm day without a problem. The provided template worked perfectly and I could drill the holes no problem. I used good old spit as suggested in the instructions and pulled them through with a bit of wiggling. Like Bill and others mentioned, they are just that little bit too high making it difficult to close the lid, even though it was a fairly warm day when I installed them. The remote also did not work every time. I think it would be very difficult to close in winter. So, like some others, I shaved about 2mm off the top with a carpet knife. Perfect! The lid now closes easy enough with a backward and down pull on the backrest of the seat. The remote now works without a problem. It still remains to be seen if there will be any water leaks when riding in the rain. Will have to wait for the winter to find out. 4 Stars only because I think they are just that little bit too high and this view is shared by many other reviewers. I’m happy with the end result. |

Instructions call for 1/4" hole. I opted for 9/32" & found install a bit easier & the bumpers still fit snugly in the holes. Also I heated water in the microwave & soaked the bumpers before installation & it softened them just enough to make them more pliable. |

I installed mine in the late winder last year. Not a good Ideal to install them in the cold. Its hard to close the trunk lid. Removed them and reinstalled them in the late spring let the hot summer mold them to the trunk. They stop the trunk shake that could damage lights and what ever you put in or on your trunk. PS when installing them put a little oil on them and push threw the hole and hold it with some pressure and wait. Once any part slip threw wiggle it, it will go in. |

Keeps trunk lid squarely in line with the seams. No more rubbing or cahffing of the paint inside. Should be installed by Honda and not an option for owners.Installs in minutesw. |
