Installed my F4 windshield in 2007. Still looking good after 50k miles. do have a few knicks from gravel but no scratches. A great windshield for keeping the wind off your passenger also. If something would happen to this windshield today I would order another one tomorrow. 'RED---RIDER' |

I installed the +4 and it is so nice. I had it on for two weeks and am pleased with begining able to clean it with window cleaner and paper towels.Have not rode in the rain yet as it doesn't rain anymore. But it ever does I will make it a point to get out and give it a try. |

Easy to install if you follow the Vid on You Tube! I did and it was sooo easy. This wind screen is so much better then stock! I installed it on my 2012 Goldwing and it took me about 30 min. It blocks all the wind from my chest and the top of my helmet. And it's like looking through a car window it's so clear. I have not gotten caught in the rain yet so I can't speak on the rain shedding ability, but it's just a matter of time till I do! Be careful when you put on the velcro because it will be seen. So take your time and make sure it's straight and as neat as possible. Great addition to my new Goldwing. And I'm sure if you add it to yours it will be also.. |

Based on reviews here and recommendations from others, I purchased this when I bought my wing from Wingstuff. They didn't have it in stock, so it was dropp-shipped to me. It arrived yesterday, and thanks to the detailed videos, written instructions (2 sets included) with photos, and comments from forums, I was able to install this windshield myself. If I can do it, ANYONE can. My wife, who has virtually no experience with motorcycles, said that after watching the video she felt she could do the install. Be SURE to use the rag to prevent the nut from dropping into "the abyss". Those nuts seem to be attracted to the open areas. The windshield arrived in excellent condition, with both foam padding and a protective plastic layer on the shield. The most impressive part of this windshield is the clarity. It is optically very close to glass or high-end plastic such as that used for eyeglasses. I can see clearer through it than any other windshield I've ever had on a motorcycle. The second most impressive is the cleaning. It cleans better with Windex and paper towels than it does with the microfiber I used. This is a classic case of you-get-what-you-pay-for. In my not-so-humble-opinion, the F4 is easily worth the difference in price! Apparently they really know what the term "customer service" means too (see rating below mine), which seems rare these days. |

I would like to discuss the F4 Windshield and service. In June of 2010 I took a trip on my rig to NE and had just installed a tall F4 windshield. On I-25 south between Casper and Cheyenne two sets of flashing lights warned of high winds from the SW consisting of 45+ MPH with gusts to 85+. I continued my journey and bucked that wind from the right frontal side and 3 times was hit by a terrific force of wind (guessing the 85 MPH gusts which took me all the way from the right edge side of the freeway across the white line to the second lane to its far left edge). The F4 windshield was even buckling back in front of my face. It was very warped out of shape at times, probably with more force than ever tested. Recently I was changing out a mirror and pulling back the rubber skirting noticed about 1” fisher cracks had developed on the left side just into the holding frame. I was not concerned about it, but thought the F4 group should know about the stress put on the windshield and what happened. So on 7/11/11 I sent them an email. Within a day I was contacted back stating they would replace the windshield (and I had not asked them to do that) and to return the old all at their expenses. Kudos to the F4 bunch for such a quick reaction. Because of this, in the future I definitely will buy an F4 if I need another windshield. You just don’t find service like that anymore. |

Had been riding with this windshield (stock height, no vent) 3rd season. I am VERY impressed with a water repellent feature of this winshield and only now (40 000km) it becomes slightly scratched. All this time I haven't paid much attention to cleaning it with special clothes etc, just wipe the dirt out of it. And still it repels water easyly, even when dirty. I am a short rider, so it is essential for me, as I always look though the windshield. I guess it worth its cost and when the time comes I will have new f4 windsheld defenetly! |

Installed the F4+4 at Wing Ding in Des Moines 2010 with the vent (it to is loose) Have done 15000 miles since install. Didn't encounter much rain for the first 8000 miles while riding in the USA but beaded and ran off well when we did. Now with bike back in New Zealand and another 7000 miles on the sheild water won't bead and run off so have to use Rainex all the time as most rides involve some rain along the way. I still use the F4 cleaner. With 15000 miles there is no scratches on the sheild and still very clear to see through, only complaint is it needs to be an 1" wider each side to stop the water runoff going onto my hands. Will buy again without the vent. |

I first observed this windshield at the GWRRA District Rally in Kissimmee, Florida. I was impressed at the time and ended up buying it about a week later. It is a well made product, however, I was more impressed with the instructional video for installation. It was step by step and didn't miss a thing. Thank you for a great product, but also, thank you for the easy install. It took about 1 hour, inspite of the fact that I have no mechanical abilities at all. The windshield is very clear and has been very easy to clean thus far. |

Followup: I've had this windshield for about a month and this is what I have experienced. The F4 is easy to clean and stays clean through my rides longer then the stock windshield. This windshield is so clear that at times it seems like it's not there. I can see everything in front of me with no problem. There is some glare and reflection when the sun is to your back, but not to bad. I caught a few down pours while riding home and as long as you are moving over 40 mph or 25 mph with some wind, the water beads off. However, in slow traffic, the water beads well but does not roll off, which I expected. All I need now is wipers for the slow travel. All in all, this is a great buy and well worth the money. |

I saw this windshield at the Tulsa Wing Ding (09).I was very impressed by the demo. Then last year at the Wing Ding in De Moines I had the 4" one installed. On my return ride through Wyoming, I could really tell the difference in handling in the wind and rain. Best investment I've made so far. |

Installed in 1 hour, instructions very good. Rode it with the wife and she was pleased. Stated no issues with wind buffeting. Looks very clear through and I had no scratches on it. Shipping went well. Very well protected. I would buy again. |
