Live on a small farm in the provence of Taranaki, New Zealand. Have been riding Goldwings for 15 years, have owned a 1200, 2x 1500 and now an 1800.
In summer of 2010 we spent 2 months touring the USA on our 1800 which we purchased in the US, clocking up some 17000kms.

Re - F4+4 Windshield Review
| My last post was on the 18 April 2011, Was contacted by F4 Customs through email not long after my product review of this windshield and the problem I had with rain not bedding off the shield. Thanks to the great knowledge of F4 Customs they were able to advise me on how to fix the problem easily, in which I promptly followed their instructions, and once again had my screen shedding rain as if it was a new one. Now with 22,000 miles on the screen it is still crystal clear working as it should with only a few very minor stone chips. Recomend to all who ride in the rain and will buy again. |

| Installed the F4+4 at Wing Ding in Des Moines 2010 with the vent (it to is loose) Have done 15000 miles since install. Didn't encounter much rain for the first 8000 miles while riding in the USA but beaded and ran off well when we did. Now with bike back in New Zealand and another 7000 miles on the sheild water won't bead and run off so have to use Rainex all the time as most rides involve some rain along the way. I still use the F4 cleaner. With 15000 miles there is no scratches on the sheild and still very clear to see through, only complaint is it needs to be an 1" wider each side to stop the water runoff going onto my hands. Will buy again without the vent. |
