| Just got my set of Dunlop Elite 4 tires. They were shipped promptly. They have lots of tread. I bought my bike used with 24,000 miles on it. I thought that was low miles for a 2008 Goldwing in 2018. I’ve put 7,000 miles on it in the last 2 years. I live in Texas and I used to live in Virginia. I can tell you the roads in Virginia , North Carolina,Tennessee aNd West Virginia are much better for riding aggressively than Texas. When these roads get wet they’re very slick. I’ve slid this bike through the turns and originally thought it was because it was heavy. But I’ve come to find the composition of the roads as well as the shape of the roads are the major contributors to the lack of traction. That being said these tires hold the road well in all weather conditions. I mounted and balanced these tires by myself with regular hand use tire tools. I wouldn’t recommend this procedure as it’s very tough even after leaving the tires in the sun for hours. One positive note is you can balance the rear wheel with a static balancer. Most can be bought for under $100.00. They make manual tire machines for around $400.00 . I will probably do my next set by hand again but the next time have an assistant to help. As the beads on these tires are very stiff. I love these tires for all around use. I expect many happy miles in the future. |

| Looks very nice on the bike. The color matches the OEM fender. Installation was not overly difficult, but I definitely agree with others that there needs to be a template. I am unsure if the double sided tape will hold up, but time will see. I did add loctite blue to the screws...just in case ;) |

| Installed these last week and was very disappointed. Not sure why JM Audio can't get the polarity right on the speaker lugs. After making the adapter wires needed to correctly hook them up, they sound fantastic. Definitely a 5 star rating if I didn't have to go through the trouble. If you have previously installed these or plan to, do yourself a favor and correct the polarity. I didn't want to cut my speaker wires so I made the correct adapter. |
