purchased 04/09, no complaints, we use them in fullface helmets, make sure your passenger keeps mic out of wind and your good, the 4-stars is due to speaker quality, I am sure there are better.
Rated this 3 stars to try to be neutral. The item looks fairly well built but I had to return them. We have Shoei helmets with the snap on the strap to prevent it from flapping. The snaps will not fit through the slots on the buckle side of the quick release. I had to decide, remove the strap or return the buckle so I kep the snap. This is not a positive or negative rating, just FYI for others to think about.

Good concept but if you own a trike, don't bother, it won't fit. The one I bought is still collecting dust in my shed. |
Good product, good sound, easy install, but not for switching between different helments. Buy it,install it and leave installed, you should be happy with this unit.
Nice item but had to do a little bending to make it fit. Wouldn't be without a belly pan.

I have to say that this is a great item to have handy and I am glad that I received it for Christmas. I carried the old style plug kits and they will do if you have nothing else. This Stop & Go Kit make the old style plug kits obsolete and the plug design looks to be superior to the old style. If the situation occurs, I would not be hesitant about using it after reading what Eugene had said. |
Very good item to have, I had to use it this past week but not on my Gwing. Played good samaritan and fixed a flat tire for a lady that did not have a spare tire. Had to use the motorcycle battery because the cord was not long enough to reach a battery source on the automobile. The compressor performed good for the size that it is and it does not take up a lot of space. It beat riding your thumb for help are waiting for someone to show up.
Looks great and installs easy.
Looks Great! Very easy to install
An excellent addition to the hand grips, and essential for long group rides when you can not use the cruise control. When adjusted correctly, the palm rest will keep your hands from cramping. Happy riding.
These grips were an easy install, the directions were very easy to follow. To compress the grips, I used 5 zip ties with a zip tie gun. This pulled the grips closed, as I used a popsicle stick to push the pad area in so it would fit into the cut out. The grips still allow heat, just turn up to max initially, then you can turn them down to a comfortable level. A great addition to the Goldwing.
Quality is good from a finish and build perspective. I do not like how this attaches to the antenna. The jam nut that prevents the antenna from moving is covered by the flag mount. The instructions suggest that you estimate the position of the jam nut relative to the antenna folding direction. It also suggests using a flat blade screwdriver to tighten the antenna by placing it where the antenna folds. I don't think the antenna manufacture intended this to be used to tighten the antenna.
