Universal Kickstand Extender
I have had one for several years now. I had to wrap a strip of rubber from an inner tube around the stand to make it tight enough to work. Since then it has come loose twice. This last time, will be the last time. It's gone. It was made to fit different size stands but it will not close enough for a tight fit on my stand. |

Review update. My vent it appears is loose after all. Must have been jamed tight during shipping. I don't understand why the company that makes these is sending out windshields with loose vents. According to others with this problem the fix is to remove the washers around the vent screws. I hope I can get the screws off without removing the windshield cause it ain't comming off. Other than this one problem I like the shield, it gives good protection, cleans easily and does throw off water. Glad I bought it. |

It came yesterday. Installed it last night. Install was very easy. The most labor intensive part was removing the OEM tape and tape residue. Test drove it last night and back and forth to work today and I like it glad it bought it. It appears as if the Manufacturer is reading the reviews because I did not have the problem with the air vent that some have had. It was nice and tight, no movement. The only thing I would mention is the controls work backwards. When your want it open you move the control arm down when you want it closed you move the control arm up. Not a complaint just general info. I will write another review after I have put some miles on it. |

Follow up review. I had to reorder these and replace 2 (had to put something in the 2 holes). I found it easier to install them if as I was pulling on the lower part with a pair of needle nose pliers I tipped the top part and got part of the grove in the upper bumper started in the hole. From there it popped it, I also used KY to lubricate the bumper so it would go in easier (hey KY can have more than one use). |

OK I had to bite the bullet and buy the purple wings. Too bad WingStuff did not sell them though. I .had to buy them direct from Baker. When I tried to install the new wing stops that came with the hand wings they would not fit. You see I had installed a chrome frame on my mirror I had purchased from WingStuff. Baker needs to go back to the drawing board and do some tweaking of the stops. The wings however went on easy and look great. Hope I don't need the stops. |

After reading all the reviews I am determined to buy a sent for my wing. Going to start saving now. I would like to Todd's negative comment. He commented that with a $10.00 balancing fee for each time had balancing beads installed it would take 25 changes to break even. Todd don't forget it will take you even longer to break even because your tires will LAST LONGER |

Bought the radio and OEM antenna. Works great and sounds great. When I looked at the installation instructions I knew it was going to be a job and a half. Fortunately I had recently joined the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (www.gwrra.org) I had allot of experienced help installing it all. It took about 2-1/2 hours and all went well. Really glad I bought the radio and joined gwrra. Check them out they are not just in the states but world wide. |

Second review. Still like it but having a problem. The rubber insert inside the extender that grips the stand came loose and eventually disintegrated. I cut a piece of rubber from an inner tube I keep around for such occasions but did not glue it in. My bad! It came out and the extender is loose again. This time I cut a long piece of rubber folded it and glued the folded pieces together. It's now thicker and I will glue it to the stand also. If this does not work I will drill another bolt hole as someone else did and see if that will solve it. I would still buy it and want it to work and eventually it will. I like the way it looks and the way it works, when it works. Failure is not an option! |

Bought the lowers in purple. Didn't have the hand wings in purple. Boo. So I made my own out of black 1/4 plastic material. Why should I buy black ones that do not match my uppers when I can make my own uppers for alot less. Again Boo. |
