Chrome Footpeg Mounts for GL1800

I was surpised at the weight of these suckers. All my other Kuryakyn chrome was very light, but I suppose it needs to be weighty since it is for the rider's pegs. I also did not expect such a SMALL amount of metal to make such a large difference. Install's a snap... just a few bolts and your done. If you have all the other engine chrome then go get em', cuz it kinda looks silly without it. |

These were a piece of cake to install, but like I said in my other review I am not overly happy with the 1/2" gap between this and the Chrome Frame Cover (KU3911). Still looks nice. |

These make the bike look sharp, and all you need is a few minutes, and a phillips head screwdriver. They seem to fit okay but it took me a while to get the push pins back in (I did not want to force them), and to feel confident that they were in secure. So far so good. |

Like them. Easy to install and they bring my bike that much closer to looking "finished". I may be nitpicking but I am a little annoyed with the 1/2" gap between these covers and the Kuryakyn Chrome Passenger Side covers (KU3911). You can't notice it from about 10 paces away but I spent a long time trying to get them to match-up perfectly with no success. Also, I agree with the prior posts... it could have used another block of adhesive. Lastly, it would have been nice if Kuryakyn offered all the chrome engine parts in one large discounted pack. Buying these pieces one at a time are expensive. So far I find it MUCH easier to clean than the OEM part. I gave it 5 stars despite my misgivings because I think it is a great product, and it looks amazing in the sun. BUUUUUULLIIIIIIIIIIING!!! |

Yep! Good. Tight fit... I was a little worried about that since one of the OEM ones found a way to slip off. |

I did not install this product so I cannot attest to how complicated it was but my guy only charged me one hour's labor, and told me it was a little tricky but said it was one of the better hitches he has put on because of all the "locking points"? I guess that means all the places it attaches to the bike? Anyway, it is completely hidden when the ball is not attached and very accessible to put on the hitch when you are ready to go... I'm talking seconds here. I am very happy I bought it and did not squander the extra cash for a more expensive hitch. |
Universal Power Plugs

I bought the power plug for the fairing and it works perfectly. Why some would choose to spend twice as much on the Hondaline power plug is beyond me. I only use it to charge my cell phone or to use my Airman tire compressor, and it works perfect for both so I'm happy. 5 stars! |
Centramatic Stainless Wheel Balancers for GL1800

The ride is like silk. Of course, my ride was like silk prior to my purchase and installation of these balancers so I must admit that I did not think these were worth the expense at first. After riding around for a few weeks I have noticed an improvement. My bike was smooth before but now at points it feels as though I am riding on air; like driving an Escalade. I think the balancers may have helped round out the tires a little. I look forward to seeing how much longer my tires will last because these definitely seem to be doing something. Also... you can hear the swishing of the beads at low speeds but it is not loud enough to be annoying or even noticeable unless you are listening for them. With the radio on I hear nothing. Plus you don't have to worry about them getting caught in your valve stem like Dyna Beads. Overall a good product but may not be a necessity or a “must-have”. |
Ergo II Highway Peg w/Mini Arms

I am 6'1" and I really love the designs of these highway pegs. Super easy to install and fully adjustable. I am a big man, so my big ol' calves do rub against the fairing a little bit, but I just adjust my legs to the outer rim of the pegs and I am good. Reminds me of what a woman must feel like at a gyno visit. I think I will adjust them over the weekend to see if I can find a slightly better riding position, but they are comfortable and is nice to extend those legs on the long stretches. Oh, and they look nice too. |

I never knew how much I wanted these until I saw them on my bike. I like the fact that they look solid without being overly heavy. The price was right and they look super cool. |
Chrome Timing Cover for GL1800 Goldwing

Definitely a good combo with the front lower cowl. As I said on my review from the chrome lowers, they should offer these two as a set since people most likely won't be buying one without the other. Set-up was easy, or so I've been told by my mechanic. He said that he just heated up the engine and that it fixes onto the timing cover with this super strong adhesive. My only problem is what I am going to do when I have to access my timing cover... I guess I will have to rip this off somehow. But the looks are amazing and it is extremely secure, and the price was fair so I'm giving it max stars. |

I can't attest to how difficult it was to install because I had my bike guy do it for me, but the end result is a fantastic looking front end and it was cheap with my VIP membership. I also got the timing cover to complete the look. They really should sell the timing cover and the lower cowl as a set because I do not know of anyone whould would buy one without the other. The lights aren't completely flush with the cowl but perhaps that is for the lens protector? Either way, you really can't tell unless you are right on top of it, and even so it is not a large distraction. 5 stars from me. |
