Pros: A nice add on for the money, Helps keep the trunk organized. Cons: The product could be a bit smaller all around to make installing a bit easier. |
| Like everyone else says they do a good job of protecting the driving lights. the KEY to installing these is in the drilling bit. Amust have in drilling plastic is a christmas tree bit. They are very sharp and, drill a small hole first then drills one size bigger at a time. The futher you push the bit in you get one size bigger at a time. Simply put the covers on the crowl, then tape it with masking tape. Mark your holes with a marker then remove it. Drill baby drill. You can get a better picture of what they look on my photo gallery. |
| I give these ony three stars because, they should of been made to fit closer to the crowl. they really dont look as good as they could have. The lights work very good, the light is fairly desent. If it makes me more visable they are well worth the money. You can see what they look like with covers just check out my photo gallery. |
| These work great, so simple to install if you can turn a wrench you can put these on. I got the new generation dark tint. Plus I have have the wings to. Check out my photo gallery to see what this color, and tint looks lie |
| Easy to install, BUT the best thing to do is to throw away the wood bit they send with it to drill the holes. the VERY best way to drill any hole in plastic is with a christmas tree bit. It has a sharp point drills a small hole first then one size bigger at a time.the futher you push it the bigger the hole, absoulty a must for a perfect hole. Tape the paper on strip, drill the holes thats it. the rest is simply bolt it on. As everyone says they work great, i also have the hand wings. I got the dark tint new generation. check out my photo gallery to see what that color looks like. |
| I have to agree with Ron, Kuryakyn makes the very best highway pegs and make the long trips more comfortable. All 5 of us who ride together all the time have these and love them. easy to install and you adjust them to your own leg length. |
| installed them in the 02 and also put them in the 08 when I replaced the head bearings. Make a nice difference in riding and easy to install these |
| installed these in the 08 with only 14000 miles on the bike because of severe wobble and wow what a difference. I should have put these in the 02, this is not something most people will tackle but again the bearings are great. |
| bought this to put on the front of the Escapade Trailer and the key to this is Temporary. It does go on easy and dries clear but if you leave it on it will naturally get dirty and not look real nice. I will say the product is what it says but wasn't what I was looking for. It did come off easy when I wanted it to and didn't hurt the paint so that was good |
| I installed these on both the 02 and 08 and they make it really easy to keep the front clean. They are easy to install |
|
installed this on my 02, for me a backrest is a must. I was a little intimidated about instlling it (cutting the seat) but it really wasn't that bad and I enjoyed it putting almost 80,000 miles on the 02 before getting the 08. It folds forward easy letting the passenger get on and has an adjustment nut for different possitions. Bill |

this is just one more item that I put on from Baker and wing Stuff. again what a difference these make keeping the rain and wind off the legs. I leave them on all year round Bill |
