GL1800 stoping on the spot
Purchased these for a GL1800 and put them through two motorcycle training courses and killed a pair of Metzler along the way. The brake pads are still holding together well. So far I have 8k miles on this set. |

Great Pads but.....
These are a very good brake pad but Wing Stuff sells the same pad for the front and the rear. The rear pad has a different number and is slightly thicker. The part number ends with 2HH instead of 1HH. The price for the fronts is pretty good. About the same as at my dealer but I don't pay tax or shipping here if I order enough stuff. |

Good pads, get the HH version
EBC makes a high temp, high speed cersion of these pads designated on the part number with the additon of HH after the item code. This is the model you want fo GL1800's, I actually got mine cheaper at my local Honda store with the benefit of our Goldwing chapter discount, and they were in stock. So far great performance, I can't speak to longevity but my parts guy uses them and said he gets high mileage. Hal Ft Myers |

Never EVER again...
I'm on a drill team with my GL1800, and the maneuvers in our routines involve riding the rear brakes for long periods of time to increase extreme slow speed control of the bike. My local store was out of stock on Hondaline pads once, so I put EBC rear brakes on the night before a practice, and after only a few minutes into our routine at practice the next morning, these pads overheated and stopped working. I stopped by another dealer on the way home and picked up a pair of genuine Hondaline pads. I will NEVER EVER consider EBC pads again. They just simply don't work. |

EBC Brake Pads
The rear pads wear very quickly. Have gone back to Hondaline pads. They may be a little more expensive but last much longer. |

good product
I have tried some others and these are the ticket. They brake better then all the others I tried. I cant speak for longevity I replace brakes every 15k with the tires and they still have meat left. |

I just had a front fork seal blow so had to replace the pads early but I managed to get 10,000 miles on a set of these and they are only about 30% down. The Originals were near metal at 15,000 miles. Looks like these would have lasted twice as long if they hadn't been oiled so badly by the blown fork seal. I'm replacing them with another set, they have worked fine up till now with little dust and great stopping power. I do have progressive springs and a fork brace on this bike so performance changes are very noticeable. In summary, besides costing half as much as OEM they seem to last twice as long and perform great for me. |
