Just put them on and took Apollonia out for a test ride .. FEEL GREAT! Way better that stock. You can put them on it different directions according to what you like. Easy install .. Add some lock-tite to the screw so they won't move is a good idea. |

NOT HAPPY...... There is a 1"+ gap between the bottom of the mirror and the leading edge of the deflector. Kind of defeats the purpose if you asked me. Take a look in my photos to see. Going to ask if this is a defect because it cant be right! Other than being non functional, seems like a well built product. |
| Just tried to put this cover on my Hannigan Trike and found that it is not quite big enough to fit all the way around, had to leave the back zipper partial open. The Hannigan is one of the larger trikes out there. It will probably fit all other makes. Since I can't get it back in the bag I will keep it. It is fine for inside storage which is what I purchased it for. |
| My rack begain pitting and the chrome began to come off after 18 months. Now it is 36 months old and the chrome is getting worse. There is a one year warrantee. I do not live by the ocean but took a trip down there once and I think the salt breeze may have landed on the bike and I washed it off before going back home. Didn't affect the chrome anywhere else on the bike except for this rack! |
| The quaility of the cover looks good. But my wife said even before I got it out of the carrying bag, there is no way you are ever going to get that cover back in that bag, of course she is right, there is no way to get it back in the bag. She will just have to make me a larger bag. No big deal. It takes two people to put it on the trike, can be done alone if you struggle with it, it is big. |
| Some reviewers have had difficulty in using the velcro mounting strap that is supplied. There are no instructions provided, and I only found the solution by trying at a few positions. The strap can be inserted underneath the plastic panel on my 2009 model, but forward of the ignition key, which does not seem the right location. Then the strap needs to be drawn back and fastened together to the rear of the ignition key. The contour of the plastic panel will keep it in the right position. This puts the velcro of the strap in the right position to mate with the velcro on the front of the map holder, and the back of the holder has two small tabs which are held by the gas cap door when it is lowered and locked in the closed position. |
| Well, since my last post in May 2010 I just passed 10K on the Avons. I'm still very happy with them. Lots of tread left and still stick like glue. Haven't had any cupping or delamination issues at all as stated by others. I really believe the reason is the dynamic balancers I put on when these were new. So they've paid for themselves. A little noisy in the corners now but a small price to pay for the work I'm putting these through. |
| They look great and are an easy installation, however they are more flimsy than the original moldings, and one must take care to not break them when extracting them from the shrink-wrap. |

Put it on today in the heated garage - ever easy install. Made sure to line it up so I could get the center cover out - put the new chrome center cover on in good shape. Really looks great! |
| Installed this today. Not a bad install - just follow the advise you find from others here and you will be OK. |
