Great product but why is that hole there???????
These tires have a much better grip than Dunlap especially in the rain. They grip better because they are probably softer which, of course, makes them wear out quicker. I got about 10,0000 miles on the back tire.
If you have the 2012 GW, you must to buy this! Installing the FACTORY HONDA CB (not the aftermarket one) is much easier on the 2012 models! The seat does not have to be removed! The new bikes have the Audio Control Unit (ACU) mounted in the trunk well, above the location for the CB. The ACU does not have to be disconnected, just 4 mounting screws and the whole ACU lifts enough to locate the CB beneath it. The CB control cable plugs into the ACU and the CB power connector is in the well with the ACU. Plug 'N play! Instructions to remove the seat and the left hand armrest, Drill a hole, feed the antenna out the front of the trunk and back in to the trunk in the same hole the ACU harness enters the well. But if you route the antenna cable inside the front left corner of the trunk, the armrest, pocket, and the seat do not have to come off. Just drill the 3 holes to mount the antenna, install the ground strap for the antenna, and you are done. The CB kit does not have the RF chokes either; evidently the new models already have them installed.
I recently purchased the Baker New Generation Leg Wings for my 09 Goldwing. These things really work! I'm very pleased with their performance. Two tips: I used some thread locker on the cap nuts (doesn't everyone do this on a motorcycle?) and secondly, I used a cable tie to secure the leg wing to the crash bar next to the engine. I've seen several posts with people wondering what that little hole in the wing was for. I purchased the leg wings to test the products from this company. I'm very pleased and will be purchasing the entire wing set!
Good looking, functional and an easy install.
Very good quality. Instruction are easy to follow. Take your time and do it right and you will be happy for a long time.
Great product. Good quality. The only reason for 4 stars is they should give a option for the shorter arms at order.

I have used this bag many times now. The first time I used ice cubes and that was a mistake. It did not leak but condensation was heavy on the outside bottom of the bag. I switched to Blue Ice and all is well. I just had to remember that it is designed to keep things cold, not make things cold. It is a perfect fit in my Gold Wing saddle bag when full. I use it the most for holding two Growlers (standing up) from the local micro brewery (drink responsibly). The cooler comes with a carry handle or arm strap which is nice. It is a very heavy duty made piece of luggage. |
I bought these based on recommendations by other Wing riders saying I needed some Highway pegs. I'm 5'10", 186 lbs and a 32" inseam. I've not been uncomfortable with using just the pegs that came on the 2012 Wing. Anyway. These seem well built but somewhat pricey. They are about the right length for my inseam. My legs are extended but not "locked" out in full extension. I gave it 3 stars primarily due to the HORRIBLE instructions. The instructions state there is right and left specific parts but they do not label the parts or show a picture to help decide which is right and which is left. I had to put them completely on, on the left and then on the right side. Then, I GUESSED at which one looked more right (still unsure). I googled and studied pictures to help see what looks right. I can't say enough how terrible the instructions are.
Seems well built. I got the large size. The only negative is it looks large on the bike. It seems to be a very usable size. I can put my large Chic-fil-a cup of sweet tea inside this cup while still in it's original cup. The problems with other cup holders is the cup/bottle/etc needs weight to stay in the holder. The cup/bottle/etc flies out of the holder while riding if it is not full. This is the best one I've used so far.
Seems kinda pricy for what it is.. Easy install. I put loc-tite on the retainer screw. The retainer screw is on the down side when the kick stand when it is in the up position. In theory this will make it easier for the screw to fall out. All-in-all I like it. Looks nicer and is easier than trying to place a foot under the kickstand all the time. I recommend it!
I bought these from the Honda Dealer for my 2012 Wing. Dealer charged be 2 hours labor for the install. I also changed the 2012 crowl to the 2010 so that there would be round lights in a round hole. The lights look nice in the crowl. However, they do NOT offer much in the way of added light. I've not had experience with other lights to compare to. These light up about 50 feet directly in front of the cycle but do not help light up anything further out. I'll probably change to something better in the future.
