This is an update of the product I purchased at the time when my bike was new. I have now covered 25,000km. and my tire wear is still minimal. There are no signs of uneven wear on both tires. The ride is still very smooth. I would recommend these as a compulsory item for all GW owners. |
wanted to give this some time before i reviewed this.have to say worth the wait.. had it on for sometime now and i have to tell you all Great product, well Made.not hard to install take your time and it will go right on!!! way to go " Again " Wing Stuff ******
I really like this hitch it was not hard to install just took my time about 2 hours, kept bolts loose intill I got everything put on then tighten all up, all in all very glad I got this hitch and a very nice price to go along with it. Now all I need is my rack carrier that I want for it.
Fair price. Excellent quality. Works best of the passanger highway pegs. Best thought out design. Easy 10 minute install. 5 STARS
I don't usually author reviews but had to for this product. I purchased the lighted version of these pegs to replace a pair that mounted straight out from the roll bar. Here's the thing, I have a bad leg, lost 90% of the nerves and completely lost the use of my foot and I'm forced to wear a brace, so I needed something that would hold my leg and foot in place. Not only did these work perfectly, they clear the ground better on corners. They also required a slight bend in my knees while riding, which practically eliminated back pain on long rides, so I have nothing but praise for these boards and they look great with the lights.
Great trunk rack!! I not a fan of the mega racks that overwhelm the trunk, shouldn't be carrying a 50 pound pack up there anyhow. I agree with several of the other reviews that the template could be better, I started out with a smaller hole and adjusted the location when I enlarged the holes, worked fine. Not being a fan of bling, sometime I may powder coat it black to match the bike.
Awesome!!! Been using the drink holder since August, should have bought it before summer. Easy to install, easy to use, many other similar shaped cups fit. Keeps you hydrated without having to stop. With a few ice cubes, it keeps water cold for a reasonable time. I would recommend using LocTite on the threads. Should have 6 stars.
These were easy to install, hardest part was finding the plug on the bike harness. They work well lighting up the road and making the bike more visible. I've had them on since February and am considering getting the Lens Protectors.
I installed this hitch in February, following the directions I did struggle a bit, but it was well worth it. I ordered the plug and play harness and was glad I did, everything worked perfectly first try. We pull an Aspen pop-up camper and it handles well. No complaints on tire changes, I use a round 6 prong automotive type plug so the wire harness can easily be removed with the hitch. Compared to other hitches I have used, this is far superior. Even though it is more expensive I feel that it is worth it.
I've had these on my bike since February and am very pleased. In the summer you can direct the heat away and a breeze towards you. The winter you can direct the engine heat towards you. I live in central Florida and ride year round, but the Baker Wings make it much more enjoyable. They are reasonably easy to install and look good.
The key word is water resistant, by no means waterproof, and it does not pack very small. It does fit the bike perfectly.
I bought the side bags in January, taken several trips and I am impressed. Since I suffer from OCD, I pack using Eagle Creek packing cubes, which fit in the bags perfectly.
