The picture really doesn't show you how it makes the console pop
When I bought my bike I asked about having one of these put on. Dealer said probably not needed. Guess what its needed. Little plastic res. doesn't deflect much debris.
Warning if you start with the little bling, it gets easier to by the bigger stuff, really nice touch
This was the first piece of bling I bought. Like many others I didn't want to go overboard,, but
Once again I've been duped by wingstuff.com into thinking that something will fit the 2012 goldwing. Even the picture looks like the rectangular exhaust of the 2012, yet the product is circular. On a positive note, they do look nice when I opened the box.
One of my best purchases for my goldwing. If you are having a problem putting your bike on the center stand and this is the item to purchase.
The post-recall floorboards include all the necessary parts -- thanks Kury. But, since these floorboards are much heavier than the stock ones the supplied springs weren't holding them up properly; the left side wouldn't stay completely folded. So I tried, and ended up using the Honda parts anyway, especially the detent plates and springs which completely solved the problem. They look great, and my wife loves the choice of foot positions. Happy with this purchase. I hope they hold up (chrome and rubber).
I installed the Centramatic product along with a new set of Elite 3's over 3500 miles ago. So far, the front tire still looks brand new. The ride is unbelievable. I rode a short distance on I-40 between Jackson and Brownsville, TN (I never ride the Interstate) and I can not adequately describe the smoothness of the ride, no vibrations just silky smooth. The Centramatic product certainly gets my full recommendation.
I seem to be in the minority about ease of installation. The angle of the L-shaped mounting bracket did not match the angle of the backrest and side-pocket. It made it harder to align to mark for the holes. This was on a 2002 Goldwing. I remeasured multiple times then drilled the 1/2" holes. I also had a problem getting the passenger backrest back on. There is a gap at the top, and the supplied foam tube wasn't great at filling it. Also, I couldn't get the passenger backrest pulled down enough to completely get the stock two lower threaded mounts aligned in the center of the holes which lead into the trunk area. The docs say there is a 15lb limit to the armrests--meaning the passenger shoul not lean on them to adjust their seating position. Lastly, there is a lot of side to side motion after mounting. YMMV.
Purchased this rack approximately 3 years ago, use it every day. This rack is light weight and steady. No problems at all. Good rack....
I installed this vertical trailer hitch with the help of a friend. The main tool I needed was an alignment bar. As stated by other installers do not tighten any bolts until the hitch is completely on. I truly enjoy this hitch.

Well, I couldn't find any reviews on those in the web, so I decided to order and test the brakes improvement (if there is any) on my own. It isn't that I am not satisfied with my OEM brakes, but in 50 000 miles oem rotors will soon say 'bye'. Those Galfer rotors have always been the replacement I wanted to have on my bike. I hope those rotors with brake pads will add me this "a tiny bit" which is always missed under panic braking. In the end, if there's no noticeable improvement, I could save on brake pads cost... )) I will update the review as soon as I have those arrived and installed. Please stay tuned, and wish me a worth spending )) |
