Makes the back end look beefier. Nice look.
Well in looking at the recent reviews, Ernie from Lodi seems to have had the exact same experience and solutions.. I hardwired the pins to the connector and wrapped it real good with electrical tape so they wont come off. Then later found the connectors w/ the wire ties. Additionally, I had to drill out the whole in the cover with a 1/4' drill. The wires casing was just a little too thick in diameter. Other than that all was good. Nice light.
Kuryaukyn had their head on straight with this simple hookup item. Real helpful in leaving your knuckles and fingers unscarred after getting up into the fairing in those tight places.
Really easy to mount. I didn't use the "Brows" and it looks fine all by itself.
Nice looking piece. Measure, stick it and forget it. Simple and adds a classy touch.
I purchased the New Generation mirror mounted Air Wings for my 2012 to help manage or block the cold air blowing on the back of my hands. These made a big difference with the comfort level when temps are in the 40-50 degree range. I was actully able to use my lighter, thinner riding gloves with air being blocked or routed away from my hands. Installation was straight forward and only required you to remove the screws from under your mirrors to install the mounting studs. I tried the Air Wings at hwy speeds and the Air Wings didn't move. I chose the lite tint with chrome hardware instead of the dark smoke tint because I didn't want these to stand out. You barely notice them because you can see through them. I highly recommend these for anyone who encounter cold or even cool riding temps.
I bought these lights for my 2012 Wing because I wanted running/turn signal lights in a higher position on the rear. These lights are super bright and adds a little bang to an otherwise blank space. The installation was easy and only required removal of the seat to route the wires to the rear of the bike. Don't even think of not using the rear accessory plug. It really makes it Plug N Play. The instructions are well written. These lights solely rely on double sided tape to hold them in place. I suggest using a heat gun or blow dryer to warm up the mounting surface and tape to insure a solid, secure bond. Be sure to thoroughly clean the mounting surface with soap and water and then with the provided alcohol swabs to remove oils and wax build up.

I had the little chrome pieces that fill in the hole previously. Nice, but not enuff. Installed these little tidbits today. Goes very well with the Kury upper vent pieces. Draws the whole works together. Highly recommend the mod. Very simple install. Nice quality chrome. (for plastic). :>) Me likey!!! |

Got this at wingding 34. The ride home was great. The handle bars didn't shimmy or shake. Also I was checking tire companies and their warranty on products for inside the tires. Some will void the warranty for adding products inside the tire.. So check with the manufacture before buying. I also have the honda tire sensors and was concerned with that as well . Every bit a five star. |
Note: I also purchased the plug & Play wiring harness for my 2010 GL with a CSC trike kit. The plug in wires on my trike were buried in the bowels of the trike so I elected to hard wire the lights in. It took me 4 hours to install but they really are nice for turn signals and running lights. They're really bright. The turn signals on the trike are really low just above the lower bumper so I thought these would be up there at eye level for the cage drivers and they are really noticeable. I'm sure it would have been a lot easier had I used the plug and play method but I soldered all connections and shrink wrapped them.
OEM duns were noise to a point of being irritating. riding buddies suggested Stones 4K later front end wobble caused by cupping but still a lot of tread. Then I read a review that was very helpful. Honda engineer said that cupping can be cause not so much by the tire but by worn Honda parts.... this can cause the problem as it is recommended that at 25/30K the steering bearings should be checked and or replaced, same with the fork springs and rear shock springs. So, the 4K cupping could be caused by poor engineering? Before I replace the tires I will have the above mentioned conditions checked. I'm at 42K on the odometer , could be the problem. So to accurately rate the tire? Until now I've been very satisfied with the performance, noise level isn't nearly as bad as the Duns and they haven't slipped out from under us yet. We ride two up and pull a trailer 65% of the time. Just avoid the road snakes in hot or wet weather.
I won't mention names of other headset manufacturers but I have tried most, and being a little on the big product review side, I decided to try this one out a few years back and placed them in both my Wife's and my helmets. Well considering what you get for your buck thease are fantastic headsets, so I just ordered my third set for my newest helmet. Took me a whole 20 minutes to install it and test it out. Like the other two before it works great. Another reason I chose this headset is because the speakers are really narrow in depth, which makes it great for those tight fitting helmets with no earpiece indention for a headset. My opinion you can't go wrong with this headset. Of course J&M's bigger headset will give you better clarity but the ear pieces are quite thick so if you don't have that space required makes for a super hard install. Thease better headsets can be professionally installed but requires drilling through the helmet which voids the helmets warranty, another reason I went with the 279's didn't have to modify anything.
