| As usual I read all reviews prior to buying it. I've always heard about dyna beads so I thought I would give it a ttry.took about 30 min for both tires. Watched video on how to install through valve stem. I have 90 degree stem so I used my compressor and lightly blew them in. Piece of cake. Aired tires back up and went for my test ride. From the very start it was smooth. Got speed up to 70mph and what Was so sweet was no tire noise. Super quiet. Im sold! Totally recommend these beads. You will love it |
| I got about 12,000 miles out of the front tire and the only reason I changed it is because I was going on a trip of about 4,000 miles and it probably only had about 1,500 left on it. However the back tire was showing an inch of steel cord all the way around it after only 5,000 miles. I was not impressed when I had to make a quick trip to the Honda shop and buy a very expensive tire and mount it just so I could go on a ride we had planned for later that day. I think I will just stick with the E3's. |
| I just returned from a 4850 mile road trip to the Black Hills. I purchased the Air Hawk right before I left based on the reviews that are written here and of course gave it the test of a warrior on this trip. This product performed as advertised and then some. Over the years on long trips there has always come a time where no matter how I shifted my bottom I could not avoid the hot spot. In ten days of riding and probably about ten hours a day in the saddle I never even felt a hot spot or any discomfort at all. This is a terrific piece of design work and something that any serious rider should own. Of course it is pricey and looking at it I still cant figure out why it is so expensive but at the end of the day the comfort that it affords is well worth the money...providing it wears well and lasts for years. Save up[ your pennies and buy one you wont be sorry. |
| Great tires. I safely get 18-19K miles out of each set. The Wing handles great with them and seems to stick to wet and dry pavement better with these tires, certainly better than with the E3s. |
| Excellent !!! Why I didn't purchase these sooner… is beyond me .I guess I was just being cheep! a bit pricey well worth it. If I could do it again I would do it a lot sooner |

Nice to have a cup of coffee/juice , but you would think They would offer a straw for the price, drilled the cap added a straw of my own. :) |

Being a auto technician ...changing the K&N on the GL1800 seem no harder then changing a cabin filter on a volvo A different improvement in performance and mostly gas mileage ( Big must!!) |
| Easy installation (5 minutes). Noise vanished. Worth every penny if you take long trips and rely on your phone powered by a 12v plug. |
| Purchased this item in Feb. specifically for a month long trip I had planed in May. Less than one week into the trip the rear tire pressure suddenly registered zero. After making an emergency stop I found no problem with the tire. I contacted Cyclegiant and returned the system. They determined the rear sensor had quit transmitting and sent me a new one. I had very few miles on the system when it malfunctioned. I will update my review if the new sensor proves to be reliable. |
| I bought a set of these last year for my 2009 gold wing before I left on a ride to Alaska. They performed beautiful. The smoothest ride over the life of the tires I have ever had on a gold wing. It was worth the money seeing the look on there faces of the guys at the bike shop when I told them not to balance the tires. I didn't notice any cupping on the worn out tires that I have always seen without these installed. I would recommend these to anyone thinking about buying a set. |
| My brace slipped a little out of alignment and cost me $500 to re and re the fork seals and bushings. The Shop told me to throw it out. If the Goldwing needed a fork brace they'd put one on at the factory. |

I use the butler for two purposes. To be able to have a beverage available. In the morning I put in hot coffee. 3oz of French Vanilla and fill up with Coffee. Around noon or so, I fill it with ice and buy a couple of energy drinks. The ice costs nothing with the purchase. I fill the Butler and sip during my rides. Another important use of the cup is to make sure I get off the bike every 100 miles or so. If you are over 50 you know what I mean 10-100. I think it important to make sure you stretch your legs and being forced to stop at a rest stop for relief accomplishes that. I just upgraded to a 2014 Air Bag model. I checked with Butler and while they did indeed note that it will fit, they also reminded me that Honda also does not recommend any attachments to the handle bars due to the deployment of the air bag. Made sense not to put anything over the top of the air bag---Right?? However I still wanted to use it. I went to Alro Steel and bought some 3/8 plastic like Butler uses. I remade the bracket that mounts to the handlebar higher and a bit wider like 3x5". Then I mounted the cup holder on the back of the new mount vs the front like Baker does it. The result is that the cup and holding bracket is well in front of the handlebar and does not interfere with the windshield when turned to the right. I also made sure the new handlebar mount was wide enough (3") to stop a careless turn of the cup hinge to be over the air bag. the result is that I can use this on a Air Bag model and no part of the mount or cup (except in a tight left turn) is over the bag at any time. I feel pretty comfortable that it is safe. |
