| This cushion is worth every penny. 2000 mile test proved it. The trip wouldn't of been such a pleasure without it. You wont regret buying it, putting air in it or releasing is a breeze, and it doesn't take much to make a difference. Yes you sit a bit higher in the seat. |

The most notable change on the first test drive after installation was handling in turns. My bike feels like it’s on a rail going into and out off turns. Not sure why but the difference is real and I loved the tightness along with no drifting. During my trip south is was smooth cruising 80-85 mph and no vibration. I monitored the cupping and noticed that most of it had worn away by the time I reached, Florida. My tires also became quieter in and out of turns. When I reached the end of my trip you had to look very hard to find any cupping, and I hardly hear a moan when turning now. I expect to replace my tire next month and I can’t wait to experience the difference. |

As I said, money well spent and I highly recommend the purchase for Goldwing owners. I hope the review motivates some of you to make the investment. You won't be sorry. Installation took me about three hours to install both front and back tires. The tires, very worn Dunlap E3's @ 42 psi front and rear. Both the front and rear tire have severe cupping and groan loudly in turns. At highway speed I experience vibration. Regardless, I wanted to evaluate how significant of a difference these balancers would make on my worn out tires. So the following weekend, I drove from Roanoke, Virginia to Orlando, Florida. After cruising three hundred miles of coastline I came back home accruing over two thousand miles on my three day weekend. |

Ever since Ford Motor Company brought out mirrors with built-in led turn indicators on the Expedition and Excursion I have wanted a set of signal mirrors on my vehicles. While I no longer have an automobile - have not owned one since 2006 - and only ride the Gold Wing; I finally have a set of signal mirrors on the bike. I purchased, and installed, the Muth 7-led, blued (anti-glare) mirrors on the Wing on Friday, 9/5/14. On Saturday and Sunday I took the bike on a trip to Northern CA and home to Southern CA via PCH through Big Sur. I LOVE these mirrors. They are bright, easily seen from either side of the lane I'm traveling in, and cagers are more aware of my intentions. Install is a snap (almost literally) and the most time consuming part of it for me was trying to fish out the left side's main connector from under the faring because the previous owner of the bike must have done some mods along the line and shortened the wiring. The right side mirror install took less than 10 minutes. Total time, even with the fishing expedition, was less than 45 minutes. I highly recommend these mirrors for all GL1800 owners. If you want a set with tire pressure monitoring - Muth makes them as well. |
| Great construction. The multiple lenses (Different shades) are a big plus. Very nice storage case. Very comfortable to wear. My concern is road safety - Peripheral vision is greatly hindered (Like Horse blinders)- even when you turn your head. I had a car driving next to me on the road, and I could not see it! I still wear them - but I'm a lot more cautious now..... |
| I was driving down the interstate and the quick release thumb screws which have rubber cap came free at 65 mph when I hit a bump and nearly caused me to wreck. People will think, the guy just did not tighten the thumb screws, but I used pliers and an Allen wrench to tighten them. These should not have popped out. I emailed the manufacturer a couple times to get new thumb screws and never heard back. I used rubber washers and black iodized cap screws and the shield has stayed locked in place. Just be careful if you buy the bagger shield to secure it with cap heads or it could hit you in your full face shield. If I were not wearing a helmet (as is allowed in many of the states I ride) I would have been a road pizza. I always wear all the gear all the time and this time it paid off big time. |
| Three stars but again the bracket on mine snapped as well. Replaced it with a chrome piece and all is good |
| Excellent cover, nice looking and easy to install. You don't need to remove the floor boards, just remove the 3 screws, slide the old one out, slide the new one in, and install the screws. It’s that easy! |
| A very nice addition to the side of the bike. It enhances the back side of the bike very well. Installed them in less than 30 min. Very good quality chrome. I have had these covers for more than a year and they still look like new. |

So I'll start be saying we loved the look and the versatility for the item. It worked great and my only concern was what happens after a year or two in the weather. Then I took the seat off and found a nice black scuff from the bottom of the drink holder. WOW was my wife pissed!!! I tried to reposition it and ever way we tried the bottom would touch when someting was put into the drink holder. Again looks great and the versatility is even better but there is a good chance of scuffing the saddle bag. |
