| I bought this for a long trip and when it arrived, I was surprised at how much it held. I was on the road for 4 full weeks, in lots of different weather and without regular access to a washing machine, so I packed a lot. And I still had space left over. I love the straps with quick release buckles. Unfortunately, someone stole one of the strap connectors off my bike when I was stopped for lunch (WHO DOES THAT?!) and I had to jerry rig the fasteeners for the duration. I can make a connector to replace the one that was stolen, but I'd love to buy one that matches. Unfortunately Kuryaken doesn't seem tot offer that option. There was one other minor problem. I was caught in some heavy rain and pulled out the rain cover. It only has two points where the straps can be passed through, and frankly those two holes don't seem to line up with any of the D Rings. I ended up just not using the rain cover. |
| I decided to choose this particular windshield because of the great product review given by Cruismans Garage on YouTube. He even shows how to install it, which was far easier then the instructions that came with it. Honestly, I just glanced at them. Lol Was super easy to install and I really am happy with how it performs too. It does lean towards me more then the original but that was easy to get used to. At 85 mph I fide very comfortably behind it. I'm 5'10". FYI |
| The build quality is excellent. Unfortunately the ease of use is not that great. Needing to put the rear tire on a piece of would just to get the bike on the center stand is not the easiest. I also have a problem getting it the bike off the dolly. Locking the wheels doesn't work as they just slide across the floor. Then I read to also put my foot in front of the dolly wheels to steady it. I really wanted to like this product but in the end I don't find any ease of use. |
| I had the same problem as some of the others, with the snaps not holding while travelling. My remedy was to replace the 4 corner snaps with turn buckles. I haven't had any problems with the bag dropping during travel since this change. The bag itself is great for carrying all the small things that bang around in the top box, without the bag. |
| Yes…. This should have been part of standard equipment for a $30K bike Yes…. If you follow the Honda instructions it will take you several hours to install; plus all the left over screws, pins…. the scratches and severe aggravation! Yes…..if you follow the the amazing YouTube videos by Fred Harmon / WingStuff you can do this in about an hour!!! Get it!!!! |

| Received the CRS center stand yesterday and installed it-installation was straight forward, I have a brake tool for my hot rod which made the removal an install of the spring a breeze. This stand made putting my G L1800 DCT Tour on the center stand an absolute dream , I'm 75 an ol shot up Army Ranger with two artificial hips an 2 plates with 14 screws in my right ankle which make it IMPOSSABLE for me to get the DCT on the center stand--The CRS STAND MAKES IT LIKE A HOT KNIFE THROUGH BUTTE---A DREAM COME TRUE---For me it sure is well WORTH it--great product--- |
