Quick Release Drink Holder for GL1800, GL1500
ITEM CODE: WSDH1,   SKU: WSDH1

08.13.2016
I purchased this drink holder in 2011, it doesn't hold standard drinking cups very well, like the ones from fast food restaurants but it works great for bottled water or similar drinks, it's also a perfect fit for my 21oz insulated water bottle.

This does the same thing as the kuryakyn brand, but it keeps the same wing span as the stock handlebars. Easy to install on the 08,just pull the cover straight up. All you got to do is unplug the speakers. Then unplug the dash wires, the hardest part of the whole operation. I took a long skinny screwdriver from the left side, to go under the tab then it will pop free. Then unbolt the handlebars, and loosen the cables. Just bolt it back together. For the plastic cover, use a quarter to mark it and cut it out. If you put the quarter in right place it will fit perfectly. After taking several trips plus a 400 mile day I wished I would of had bought it when I first bought the bike. My shoulders would hurt, my wife would rub them while I drove. Now they feel just as good as when I first get on it. More than well worth the money.

ITEM CODE: KU3202,   SKU: KU3202

These lights look great and add a little more light in the back of the bike. One on my corner lights didn't work and WingStuff replaced it very quickly. I purchase almost all my accessories from them and have always been satisfied .

Black Ride Off Center Stand for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CJ1800BL,   SKU: CJ1800BL

08.08.2016
I have been wanting one of these ride off stands for a while thinking it would make it easier to steady the bike upright. So I recently bought one. 1st issue is lack of instructions with the stand. Got the right side hex nut bolt off only after having to go buy larger hex set and trying one by one until I found the one that fit. 2nd issue (again from lack of instructions) I ended up rounding the bolt head on the left side trying to loosen it up. It cost me $60 to find out from a motorcycle tech that the right side had a reverse thread bolt. Would have been nice to know BEFORE I rounded off that bolt head. OK got the Right bolt out and ready to install the ride off stand. After installation, I find the exact same results as pere1543 review. My bike is leaning to the right. The left stand leg is approx. 1/4 inch off the ground with the foot stand shouldering the weight of the left side. The stand would not put my bike up while on the cement floor in my shop as it just slid along the floor. I rolled it back into the ally and tried it again. AGAIN, like pere1543, my reverse gear began slipping and would not pick up the bike. I called Wingstuff to express my dissatisfaction. Was told to call the manufacturer. I was given a phone #. I called 4 times in a 2 hour period and got a busy signal each and every time. Now, I am not an engineer, but if you have several people expressing the exact same problems, there is something wrong. WINGSTUFF, I will be contacting you so we can work something out. AS for a rating, can I give it a 0/5.!!!!!

Dunlop Elite 4 Tire COMBO for GL1800
ITEM CODE: WSDUE418COMBO,   SKU: WSDUE418COMBO

08.08.2016
I just returned from a 3500 mile trip from Colorado to Cali and back. The rear E4 handled wonderfully. I did not put the front E4 on the bike thinking my old E3 could make the trip.

On the way to Cali I had 5 hours of crosswind in Wyoming and cupped the right side of the E3 on the front. So, even though I have a new front E4 in my garage, I had to put one on in Cali.

NOT HAPPY! With only 500 miles on the front tire I hit the grooved cement on I 80 and the E4 was trying to find a track. If you don't like the classic wing wobble, you really are not going to like the E4 on the front. I was going 70 when it started, slowed quickly, but could not find any speed that remedied the problem.

When I hit a buffeting wind in Salt Lake City the next day it made the ride real interesting on the grooved cement. Different speeds, temperatures, states, it is all the same with the E4 on grooved cement.

Talking to the service manager at my authorized Honda shop while it was in for a rear brake recall he stated many are having this same experience. I have read other reviews from riders who say they are not.

1" Aero Flip-Out Highway Pegs Anodized Black for Honda F6B, GL1800
ITEM CODE: RIGL18003BK,   SKU: RIGL18003BK

These pegs fit good, feel good, and look good.. But, as time goes on the black paint on mine has faded from the heat of the motor and now have a purple tint to them. My bike is blacked out and these fit the look of the bike real well. Installation was a breeze.

ITEM: KU7362

I gave this product 1 star only because the scale doesn't go any lower. glue didn't extend past the part and wouldn't make contact with the fairing. Also is very cheaply made. I will be asking for a refund.

Passenger Drink Holder
ITEM CODE: KU1481,   SKU: KU1481

08.06.2016
The cup holder fits well, and looks good.

The instructions are a mystery. The product includes two shim washers and a 5/8 lock washer, but the instructions never show or tell where to use them. I used the lock washer between the bolt head and mount, but it was just a good guess. Read the instruction PDF, you'll see what I mean. I never like having pieces left over.

Chrome Passenger Cruise Pegs for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7016,   SKU: KU7016

08.06.2016
The position of these are ideal for my passenger and they fold up out of the way nicely.

I subtract one star because Kuyakin does not properly prep them for installation. Threaded holes need to be chased with a tap because debris and metal plating residue will cause the set screw to jam, and make attaching the pegs difficult.

ME 888 Marathon Ultra Tires for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG36097

08.05.2016
I am new to the Goldwing family and specified the installation of Metzler 888,s on this bike after having a great experience with Metzler 880's on my previous motorcycle, a Honda VTX1300S. My primary reason for going with the Metzlers is their ability to practically ignore tar strips, lift bridge grating, and those rough sections of paved roads which have been ground down in preparation for resurfacing. Before buying our used Goldwing, my wife and I test rode a brand new one equipped with Bridgestone tires. They totally tracked any groove in the pavement to the point they were downright scary. Certainly in that realm, both the Metzler 880's and 888's are amazing. However, they are quite noisy tires, especially when leaning over (even slightly) on curves in the road. They join in with the chorus of other whines coming from the Goldwing, ie alternator and transmission gear whine. I can't really comment on mileage yet since I only have about 4000 miles on them. I'm not an aggressive rider and usually got about 12,000 miles per set of Dunlops on my VTX so we'll see how these Metzler's hold up to my riding style on the heavier Goldwing. I also rarely ride in the rain so I can't comment on their performance in wet conditions.
