With over 70,000 miles on our Wing now and trying all 3 of the so called name brands, I still like and prefer the Metzeler ME 880 over any of them. I get more miles, less wobble and superior handling and control compared the Dunlops.

I bought and installed this hitch 4 years ago. I felt I should revisit my earlier 5 star review. The hitch had worked perfectly until this spring. We were on our way to Deals Gap, NC to ride the Dragon again when I noticed slop and heard some noise in the hitch area. Inspection found the unit broken completely in all joints except one. We were one piece of metal away from losing it all... and it was cracked! I thank God that we were near our super friends at the #1 Tri-County Cycle in Corbin, KY. They rewelded and added some bracing to the unit. It appears to be better than new. Close to another 8,000 miles and so far so good. In defense of the hitch, we ride a lot of miles and generally the trailer is loaded pretty heavy. Plus, we all know there are some really rough roads out there. Will we buy another one next year on our next Wing? Not sure, probably will look for a heavier unit if there is one. If not, we might add the bracing to the new one before installing it.

A must have. Great inexpensive item. Easy to install. Makes it breeze to connect and disconnect.

In my opinion, these are the best tires made at this time for the 1800. The original Dunlops had bad front end wobble after a few thousand miles. 2nd set, I tried the Avons. What a joke. Good control at first but they lasted only 7,000 miles and had very bad front end wobble after 5,000 miles. I decided to try Metzeler for the 3rd set since they were awesome on my 00 GL1500 wing. They lasted over 17,000 miles and still had some tread. They were awesome. Smooth, great control, grip and NO wobble the whole time. I went to WingDing in Nashville this year (06). There was only one place selling and installing tires. They sold only Dunlop and against my better judgment, I went ahead and had them put on since we were leaving for a long trip to the west coast a week later. Yes, that’s bad planning on my part. My installation was one of the last completed before the end of the show. The Dunlops caused immediate front end wobble, an extremely hard ride, and loss of control compared to the Metzelers. We went back and was hoping to have the almost worn out Metzelers put back on if possible but of course they were closed up. The Dunlops now have 9,000 miles and the wobble is getting much worse, to the point of being dangerous. I will be ordering new Metzelers from WingStuff and putting them on even before the Dunlops are worn out.

I wouldn't say this is a must have but it was for me after I put all the other chrome on. It was part of the final touches. Looks great.

This is a MUST have. I can't say it enough... you will be amazed how these little things can make such a difference. Easy to install and adjust.

This frame area is THE one item that you can't help but notice. You'll either notice the stock dull grey or this chrome beauty. It just simply changes the looks of the side of the Wing for the better. It gives the Wing an extremely custom classy elegant look. It is very much worth the money. A must have for sure.

Great armrest. They look like they are part of the bike instead of something that was slapped on. The pad isn't all the soft but it is very comfortable. Probably will last longer than if it was really soft. The drink holder is great. The only thing I disliked about them is that you have to pull or push both outwards before you can open the trunk. We have gotten use to it and don't give it a lot of thought anymore. 
I say this as a joke but I really think they would help keep your passenger on the bike when they fall asleep on this smooth running beauty. |

Quick and easy install. Remove seat and hook the wires up. We have pulled our trailer for over 30,000 miles and have had no troubles. A must have if you are pulling a trailer.

This is one of the greatest addition to add to the rear of the 01 thru 05 Wing. Totally changes to looks of the rear. Looks so good that Honda put lights that look close to these on their 06 Wing. Extremely sharp. Worth the money.

Fits good and looks good. Prevents scratches and helps keep the trunk area looking like new. Plus it protects the items you put in the trunk. A must have. And a great price from WingStuff.

This addition to an already beautiful bike is amazing. They light up the bike to perfection. Adds safety with the extra lighting but the beauty is something that you have to see to believe. I can't remember meeting anyone so far that doesn't like them. Simple Awesome!

I didn't read the instructions so I didn't have any trouble. Sized up the area and peices and put it together. We pulled our trailer over 30,000 miles in the past 12 months. This is a great hitch for the money. Thanks for the recommendation Rick!

Good looking shirt. Keeps the sun off when it's hot and it makes a nice shirt under my jacket when cool. It's bright appearance helps people to see you. My favorite riding shirt.
