Kuryakyn Driver Backrest
| The previous owner of my bike had a Honda backrest installed, but it didn't work for us. We're older and needed a removable backrest for my wife to get on the bike. It works well for that. I also like the design, which matches well with the stock seat design. As mentioned in other reviews though, the adjustability is limited and doesn't allow the bottom of the backrest to move forward for increased lumbar support. If I had been aware of this I probably would have considered other options. I bought this item from Amazon, not Wingstuff. |

No adjustments possible!
| The "set screw" that supposed to hold the backrest height is worthless. You cannot have it "set" and install the mount into the seat, nor can you put it in with the mount in the seat. But this does not matter as you cannot remove the backrest with it "set". It is supposed to have a spring loaded ball, but it does not work as it stays jammed inside. There is no fore and aft adjustment either. Moving it "forward" only causes the top to dig into your back and "back" only make it "recline". I am glad that I did not need anything adjusted with it being OK in the only spot it will ever be. Another advantage over my broken "SC" backrest is that I can put my ice-water pump cooler on the back seat for those very hot days on a trip. |

| I had another back rest on my trike but was not comfortable. I ordered thie on and real like it .I put it on and the next day I did ask 2 day ride and had no back problems. Looks good on my trike to. |

Not happy with mine!
| If you need this to come foward it only tilts and creats a pressure point at the very top of back rest. Other wise good quality! Just a flaw in the design. I had to tape on a 2" thick peice of foam to get mine 2" foward and have it still usable. |

Kuryakyn Adjustable backrest
| The look matches very well and looks good on the bike, but the height adjustment is useless. The spring loaded bearing does not hold the height where you set the backrest. If you use in the lowest setting like the photo, you will be fine, but it will not stay in a raised position. |

Didn't fit me, but a quality piece
| This is a well made component. Install instructions were good. The adjustable spring ball the allows the backrest height to adjust and remove, didn't work very well. The adjustment is either too solid to adjust/remove or so loose the backrest just drops to the bottom of the slot. Micro adjustments were ineffective. You either lock it in place or allow the too loose fit. Still not bad. The backrest pushed me a little too far forward for my liking-thats just me -not the fault of the product. Its a good solid backrest, it just won't fit me.....and its unreturnable. |
