Far superior to other similar products
I had the Show Chrome lights on my first Wing and put these on my second Wing. By far, these lights are much better looking and functioning than Show Chrome's lights. These lights are brighter and the chrome is better quality. Just get these and you'll be looking good, day or night. |

Maybe the last Bling-Maybe
Got to agree with Wizard They look great, but instructions are a little lacking. When I put these on my wish list the wife wasn't sure. I explained the safety factor of night riding and she agreed. I ordered alot of stuff in my last order on Tuesday and Wed half of it showed up UPS and Thurs the rest came Fed Ex. Good job WS To install these Read and look then read and look again. The lower trunk bottom instructions to run the wiring harness isn't clear which screws to loosen or remove. The bottom doesn't swing down far enough to get the job done. Remove all 7 screws (3 along the back outside and 4 inside the trunk 2 on each side) Take the bottom all the way off. Close the helmet hooks and then use the trunk lid and saddlebag door openers to just slide it out. These look great and after everything else I put on it, this maybe the last Bling I buy. Maybe? |

Trunk and Sadlebag Installation - Reality!
These lights look great! However, as much as I enjoy watching Chris the Kuryakyn guy and his installation videos, the reality is a bit different. Trunk install: these stock trim pieces came off easily; and the 2 side pieces went on easily. But the longer center piece was a bear to "snap" into the various places...but it did go on. The supplied installation instructions could use a lot of help when it came to the plug-and-play wiring. They tell you to unplug either the red or blue connectors...but realize there are 2 red and 2 blue. Pick the color you want and unplug BOTH (a 3 wire and a 2 wire I think). Plus running the 26" extension wire under the trunk lower housing was not as simple as the video seemed to indicate. Then come the saddlebags. Removal of the saddlebag door mounted pieces was OK, except geting to the screw adjacent to the bungee connector was tough - and even tougher during the install (you are threading the retaining screw into virgin plastic). But that went OK. The shorter corner pieces were more trouble. The stock pieces have two-sided heavy-duty tape to hold them in place i addition to the 2 rear screws. Once you pull that corner piece off you will need to remove all the remaining old tape and residue. Get some Goo Gone and a putty knife and clean that area well. The instructions indicate drilling a 5/16" hole, but you need to drill 2 holes and I had to go up to a 3/8" bit to get the connector through the holes and behind the light. Make sure you drill where the wire can come up behind the light fixture and not impede the 3 housing retaining screws. Then when I was almost done, the left (and LAST!) corner piece simply would not fit. I had to slightly enlarge the exisiting holes that the 2 screws feed through to get the protruding stem to line up and fit. Then the piece went flush as it is supposed to fit. I opted to have a real Honda service guy with splicing and soldering in the lights on each side vice the snap clips. I was told that this is a much better install method to prevent shorting. I took my time and it took me several hours to accomplish. I repeat my opening line - these look GREAT!! |

Improved led moldings
I have had another set of led moldings on my bike, Show Chrome with clear lens. They don't compare is brightness and visibility with these. Have wanted to change them for quite some time and finally did. Much happier! Simple install If you have not attempted anything like this just watch the video. |

Nice Looking Addition To Trike
This is a great looking addition to my trike. It fits in so well that it looks like the wing came with it. The install was easy, but I couldn't wire it according to the instructions because of the trike conversion. I had to hard wire in into one of the tail lights. I didn't believe that the running lights and brake lights would run on just two wires, but tech support assured me that they would both work which they did. This is the third product that I have purchased for my trike from Kuryakyn and the third one that has either been defective in some way or missing parts or both. This one was missing the wiring parts package. As usual tech supoport was quick to remedy the problem. I really don't think much of Kuryakin. The light kit deserves 5 stars and Kuryakin deserves none so I gave it 3 stars |

Excellent customer relations
I ordered a set of these and they looked fabulous. I noticed that one of the LED pods was only half lit. I contacted Wingstuff customer support and Joseph handled my issues promptly with outstanding customer support that is not normally found these days. |

trunk and saddle bag lighting
the installation was easy. I was a little confused on the saddlebag lighting there were 2 green wires I think I wired the wrong one in because my break lights didn't work on the saddlebag lights I will have to switch the wires in think. but I really like how the lights and chrome look on my bike. really not that difficult to do. My buddy said he wants some for his bike. I think was a little jealous. The back of my bike is really lit up now. |

Pat
I installed these several years ago and they have held up well and are a great looking accent to the bags at night. The install was easy but one suggestion that I would make is to slightly warm the attachment screws with a propane torch or match [unless you are installing during hot weather] as mine had a tendancy to want to split the plastic that the screw goes into. Be carefull to just warm the screws so that they are very warm to the touch-too hot and they will damage the plastic. |

I installed them and they look great, do I like the install instructions and video, yes and no, they both leave a lot to desire, especially the lower lites, they could of gone over the steps better, they left things out like all the drilling not just the easy front part they could of showed you how to install the wires instead of just telling you what color wires to hook up, I'm no electrian, but looking at the video and instructions helped they just could of gone into better detail and I would of gave them 5 stars. |
