Rear Accessory Light Plug & Play Harness

great product, great service
I bought this harness with the intention of using it for adding other lighting. This is the way to go if you want to add your own brake, turn and running lights. With this harness you do not have to cut and splice the existing wiring on the bike. You can use the pigtail as a sort of breakout box for anything you want to add. Not necessarily Kuryakyn accessories. Also, by adding relays to the wiring, you take the load off the OEM wiring. I had ordered this harness during Wingstuff's free shipping offer last year, along with some other parts. Wingstuff kept me informed of the order and shipping dates. Everything I ordered arrived at one time and complete. |

it is what it is
The hardest thing was getting the old seat bolts back in. The instructions were great. The installation a breeze, and now I can put more trinkets on the bike and not have to chop into the harness. Good Product worth the money |

whew
We purchased the item for future additions. We were installing other things and figured may as well knock this one out since we already had the seat off. Had the same trouble as others, finding the darn connection. It was in the same area that the instructions said but... it was under another set of wires under the lip of the bike frame. As others have said, keep digging and you will find it. Was about to give up when out of frustration, I dug deep and there it was. Once that was located the rest was a breeze. Look forward to future additions going much faster now that I have this. |

Completely satisfied
Great item. Sure makes it easy to add other lighting. Had trouble locating the 14 pin plug but after contacting a Kuryakyn rep and his fine help, I got it installed w/o much effort. I fed a plastic coated cable to the rear and pulled wiring with that. |

A little challenging
Found the connector under the seat very easy, just kep digging. However, routing the harness to the back of the bike was a chore. What helped me was, instead of trying to fish the wire straight back to the rear of the bike, I place the harness where the directions said and dropped it straight down by the rear wheel. From underneath, you can route the harness to the rear of the bike along the frame and out of harms way. Hope I did not confuss anyone. |

installed on my 2012
Other posts about OEM connector location were a big help, you have to look for it but it’s there; must have to install lights. |

Must Have
I wish all electrical products had a simple plug and play like this. I agree that finding the main plug is a slight chore but thats on Honda. Honda's wiring is an electrical nightmare. After finding the main plug its a no brainer from there. Great job on this harness. True plug and play, love it.... |

What a chore!
I had a real problem finding the 14 pin connector. Routing was ok and it makes rear lights truely plug and play. Well worth the money. |

Hmmmmm!!!
This accessory makes installation of lights on the rear of the bike a true plug and play experience. However, installation of the harness itself requires a little patience and perseverance. I had a little trouble locating the correct connector to hook into under the seat. I also had a little adventure routing the harness to the backend. It was a breeze once I figured out the right route; but for some reason it wasn't obvious to me at first. Anyway, when all was said and done, it was worthy it! |
