Running light converter
Works as it should.... instructions not very clear.... on my 2009 the plug in is over the rear fender by the amplifier.... on 2012 and up I believe it is direct plug and play |

LED TRUNK SPOILER RUNNING LIGHT CONVERTER
Received outdated instructions that did not make sense for a 2008 GL 1800. After an hour of trying to make the instructions work, I found the correct ones on bigbikeparts.com. Make sure your instructions are dated 7/31/2019.With correction instructions the installation was easy and straight forward. Works well. |

Not for 2002
Purchased for my 2002. The small male plug does fit into the existing female receptacle, the other two plugs do not fit the 2002. I cut the two wires, crimped on a male and female round plug ends to mate with those coming from the spoiler light. |

we'll see
This unit is a must to convert the spoiler LEDs to brake/tail lights. Install was as easy as you would expect. Truly plug and play. As you can imagine, it took a lot longer to dig your way to where it plugs in than it did to hook it up. One of the connectors has a near-bare wire in it. It appears a bit loose in the connector. Time will tell if it stays in. The loose wire is the reason for 4-star rating. |

NEAT TRICK
Provides a little more light, just what ever one needs on the rear of a bike. Went together pretty well, did have problems getting the top to screws in the center piece started. Oh well, all can't be fun and games. |

Not for the faint of heart or over 70 Yrs. Old
Purchased this with the fog light reconfiguration kit. Got the fog light kit installed fine (after calling EC) Spent most of the day today attempting to install this Trunk spoiler converter. I have a CSC Cobra trike and all the connecters are above the rear suspension. I completely disassembled the upper trunk and still couldn't find the 3 prong blue connector? I even jacked up the trike and took off both rear wheels and still no find. I finally gave up and put everything back to stock and had a glass of wine. Boy am I old. After about 30 ups and downs I'm bushed. Maybe offer clearer instructions or alternative methods of installing. (other than plug and Play) I hope your luck with this is better than mine with your trikes? |
