I've had K&N Air Filters on my other vehicles with no disappointments. Changing the air filter was a different story.... Honda should have made it much easier to get to since it is a vital part of the ongoing maintenance of the bike. Only had it on for a few hundred miles and they have all been cold ones so I haven't noticed any improvement thus far. |

| when i saw the procedure PEP went through, i vowed never to tackle this task and just pay the install price. by the time i got through the 6 beers, i'd sit the intake outside somewhere, maybe on top of the dash. my next filter install will be a K&N |

| I can’t add much of anything above and beyond that which has been previously stated by the other people before me. The tree pollen and dust up here in the White Mountains of Arizona require me to clean and charge every 12000 – 15000 miles. A stock filter will only get around as much and no more mileage. So, in terms of dollars and cents it makes more sense to go with K&M. |

| I have had KN filters on all my bikes for years. I like the fact they are good for 10,000-20,000 miles without cleaning and recharging with the KN filter treatment kit. And they last a lifetime. HP supposedly increases by 5 HP. There IS a slightly noticeable increase in throttle response due to easier air flow. As with ANY air filter install, it is a 6 beer job. )one, to get the inertia to get started. 1 1/2 to get the shelter off and disconnect all the computer wiring, 1 too look at the mess Honda made of the filter position and contemplate going inside to watch Cops, 1 to get humping and put it all back together, and 1 1/2 more to figure out where all the extra bolts and screws came from (lol). |

| Great filter....decent price. My bike seems happier since I replaced it. But..WOW...not an easy install! You'll need a real Honda shop manual, some patience and a radio that's playin' great music! 40+ fasteners, the seat, 8 body panels, 7 wiring harnesses to deal with. But there's worse ways to spend an afternoon than workin' on your bike! |

| Have the K & N filters in all my vehicles and would not be with out them.. Never have to replace them, just clean them.. Biggest problem was installing them as you have to half disassemble the bike.. Real pain to install but still would not be with out it..Would not recommend a person doing it by their self if not mechanically inclined... |

| I really like this air filter. I will admit to being biased. I have used K&N air filters for over 20 years in different vehicles and they have always performed very well. This one is no different. Just clean it on your regular service intervals and you will never have to replace it again. |
