I have been very satisfied with the upgraded custom rear shock. The motorcycle handles much better. I bought a 2001 GL 1800 in 2020. It had some age. I noticed the rear shock wasn't raising or lowering the bike throughout the full adjustable range. I decided to upgrade to this shock and am very pleased. The installation would have been impossible without a shop manual. My only complaint is that the shock didn't come with any instructions and I still have a metal rod that was stuck through the bottom bracket that I'm not sure what to do with. I imagine it was for lining the bracket up with the bolt holes. The total installation (from initial plastic removal to test drive) took about 12 hours. I did this alone and would not recommend that for others. If you can get some help with the install, do that! The shock adjusts the bike's height through the whole 1-25 range and is noticeably more stable during turning and takeoff.
I've run Bridgestone for all my replacement tires on my Wings. I got 16K on my 2008 Wing, front and back tires, about one set every year. My 2018 Wing I get about 15K on the rear and 17K on the front for the first 2 sets of tires, on my 3 set now. I always run the Dyna Beads and get great tire wear with no cupping. Thank you Wingstuff for being my go to guys for my Goldwings, KC.
I've always had great tread life and consistant wear running these Bridgestone tires on my Wing! I needed a new rear after finding a road hazard gash.... Ordered after lunch and the tire was on my porch nin less than 48 hours! Thanks WingStuff! I'm safely back on the road!
This is my second set installed, 12K on last set. Had E4 Dunnies when I bought it and the ride was a bit stiffer, not horrible but noticeably different to me.
Receive the lights fit perfectly easy to install very bright work fantastic
I feel Bridgestone is the way to go on a Wing. They wear well and ride true. Wingstuff has always been good on pricing and Shipping.. tire arrived in 2 days on this order, quicker than the shop said they could get it and I saved $25 bucks.
I ordered this luggage rack and it was at my door in 4 days! Everything worked as it should, the threads worked fine the screw lengths were fine, the installation was done in about an hour. It looks great on the Gold Wing and it holds our gear well. The only improvement would be, if the manufacturer could provide a template for the installation. This would be nice but not a necessity.
It took me about 3 adjustments to get it right...and it's as everyone else says...very little air is needed. I went on a 200+ mile ride with it and I was noticeably more comfortable. I'm going to give it a bigger test next month when I anticipate putting about 2,000 miles on it in 5 days. If all goes well I will move this to 5 stars.
No question that the video is very deceptive which is why I'm sure they turned off comments for it. This dolly will work, but you will find it almost impossible to put your wing on the center stand unless you're using an aftermarket center stand for easy lifting. If you look very close at the video, you can clearly see that it is NOT an OEM center stand he is demonstrating with. I bought this after-market stand and I'm very happy with it so I'll have no issues using this dolly, but I find it pathetic that the seller/manufacturer have to mislead people especially on such and expensive item. For that reason I give this 1-star. Shame on them.
Thought I would take a good ride before reviewing these great additions to my 2019 wing.Great design and workmanship in construction .I will address installation about which I can say there is room for improvement in the procedure.I have a short inseam at 29" so these were a must for me.Having said that once they are installed they look good and are infinitesimally adjustable.I learnt the hard way and only put blue locktite on the mounting bolts and not on the pedals well they came loose and I almost lost one. To the end I will say they are a worth while accessory.
What a great thing.....shoulda done this a LONG time ago. No more rubbing, no more paint missing. Easy to do; I dont think it took us more than 30 minutes to install all 4 of them, 2 thumbs up on this one!
I just received my first set of Bridgestone tire. They arrived fast, and look great. I've always run Dunlops and Avon....looking forward to installing these and experiencing the ride, I'll revaluate my review down the road.
