I purchased this for my 2021 GL 1800 tour. The write up advertisement suggest it’s for 2018 and above. That is false, it does not fit the 2021 GL1800. That all being said, the nice man at customer service didn’t charge it to my account, after I complained. Therefore, I’m giving at five stars. Brent Turner
Had the Ciro Filler Panel lights and just replaced them with the Kuryakin Omni rear fender cover. Am very pleased with it. I think it looks great and the turn signal lighting really stands out. The installation was straightforward and easy.My only complaint (hope Kuryakin sees this), there is no connection near the fender, so any time the fender needs to be removed (ie:tire change), either the fender assembly will somehow have to be supported/tied out of way, or the wiring will have to be disconnected under the seat and the wiring pulled out and then have to be snaked back to re-connect. There should have been a connection near the fender.
Necessary to install OEM fog lights. Fit and finish great, only issue is install manual has to be downloaded. Use a dremel tool to cut opening into the front covers. Eazy Peazy... about 3 hours install time for a first timer...
I did a lot of research on the balancers and read as many reviews as I could find. Could not find anyone who had really put some miles on these. Well I hope this helps the next group of riders looking for info.I had a set of Bridgestone Excedra Max on my 2018 Goldwing DCT Tour and had Balance beads installed when new. I put on 12,500 and still could have gone another 1000 easy. The reason I wanted reviews was to find out how many more miles you could add with the Balancers because we were about to embark on the USA 4_corners. Well I bought a new set of Bridgestone Excedra Max and installed the Balancers. Just got back 6/13. We did Denver to Key West to San Ysidro CA Blaine WA to Madawaska ME and back to Denver. 13,653 miles, 40 states in 28 days. I have just under 4mm left on the rear and just under 3mm on the front. I believe I can go another 2-3k miles before wear bars. From 12k to 16k that is an awesome increase. I will write another once these tires are to the wear bars. With beads I got 12,500 to the wear bars.
Fit and finish better than any cheap ebay offer. Lots of videos available on how to install, with short cuts. Using factory parts I never have to worry if it is going to work. Using WingStuff they send everything well packaged and tracking! Completely satisfied, not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
It's decent enough, but it's not perfect. The finish was pretty gloppy on mine (they're just wooden beads painted black, but mine looks like someone poured a bucket of black paint over a pile of wooden beads). The monofilament line used in the construction seems far too thin and some of it is doubled up while other parts aren't, but only time will tell if it holds up. My biggest irritant, though, is that the front bungee hooks are about 2-3" longer than they need to be, which requires me to cut them down in order to make them actually function as retaining hooks. It might be a small point, but when you're selling a seat cover for a GL1800, it would help if it actually *fit* a GL1800 without the user having to modify it. I guess at the price I paid for it, it's hard to complain. That aside, it's unfortunate that we live in a world where a sentence like that is commonplace.
Easy and straight forward to install. Nice to change sitting position on long trips and lean back and stretch my legs. They go hand in hand with the Utopia backrest. Good quality!
Seem great so far. No slippage and much larger than stock. Heat transfer feels about one setting lower than stock.
These pegs look great on my 2010 Goldwing. I am 6'2" with size 12 boots/shoes so in order for me to stretch out my legs they must be in middle to the furthest setting. I have on middle setting and I find that the pegs do not stick out far enough for me to have my feet/legs out. I am very disappointed.
Exactly what I needed. Such an easy fix for the Wing, especially on longer trips.
After buying my new Wing, it didn’t take long at all to have things shoved into my saddlebags all unorganized. I was thrilled to find these bags after my wife and I went on a long weekend trip and ended up shoving grocery bags full of clothes into the saddlebags. Now we can pack one each in the house and simply put them in the bike. Also saved a ton over Honda OEM bags. These fit well and are heavyweight canvas with dual flap zippers. I highly recommend, make your life easier.
These are nice liners, especially since they were on sale! They’re heavyweight and fit well. Can’t beat the savings over Honda OEM liners. I purchased these with the trunk liner and am very happy.
