| So the one I got did not velcro to the top but rather had bars that went to the screws on the side. Probably more secure but you lose a couple of inches of storage space. Also did not have the same pouch designs and doesn't have the free mirror as pictured. It is a usable item but when I do my first real tour with it, I may find the lack of space to be a problem. And you cannot close the lid on a full face helmet with this installed because of how far down it hangs (bars keep it from closing). But Kury will probably be out of business before you can buy one of these but It's not the miracle I wanted. I may try to install some velcro and try again but I kind of feel that I shouldn't have to. |
| The windscreen is pretty important to me so it's worth the extra cash. This is my second F4 and I love these. I got the 24 and it is actually a bit tall for me (6'3" here) but better for the wife in 2 up. Thankfully the wing has adjustable windscreen height so I can lower it on solo. The F4 products are, in my opinion, superior and I highly recommend |
| As others have said, it won't work on quick release. Even T bar adapters won't fit. The end is too big for the hole in the T bar and making the T bar bigger is going to make it not fit the clasp so no love for the Shoei and Nolan crowd. Otherwise it's a great solution for Honda dropping the ball. Thankfully one of us has a regular D ring helmet so I can go through the visor on mine and into the D ring on hers. But if you don't have at lease one D ring helmet, seek other solutions. |
| The only solution for the passenger so far without custom arm rests. Actually pretty ingenious how it mounts. It did not include hardware or instructions but it was easy to figure out and reuses the factory hardware (not sure why it advertises that it comes with hardware). It doesn't interfere with the passengers leg and has some (not a lot) of adjustment. Actual cup holder is flimsy and I'll be replacing it but the mounting arm is pretty brilliant (but uses a smaller mounting ball than the smallest 1 inch RAM mount ball). I put this on a 2018 with stock hand holds and it fits perfectly but I kind of have doubts if it will fit the larger hand holds that you can buy here and come on the 2021 plus models. |
| The bag fits nicely on the luggage rack (2023 Goldwing Tour). Enough room that I can carry my rain suit and some thinner items in the side pockets. Not as much storage room in this bike as my 08 had, so this was some needed extra storage space. From what I have read, you don't want to overload the storage bag on the trunk due to a possibility of the shell cracking. The 08, I am sure I had that overloaded. |
| Will be installing the Belly Pan after the 1st oil change. Read a lot about them on forums and it sounded like a good idea. Only down side I read about was lack of ventilation (possibility of running hot). So, I laid out a pattern and drilled 1/8 inch holes to allow some ventilation. I realize there are other belly pans that have air flow grooves but I didn't care for the way they mounted (looked a little cheaper quality). It will be installed after I change the oil. Liked the oil filter kit sold by Wing Stuff that also included the filter wrench (socket). |
| I read the installation instructions and then took a look at my bike. I don't have the screws for mounting it. So, the fitment test may be correct for the manual transmission 'Wing, but it won't work on the DCT. |
| Installed the luggage rack the other weekend. The directions were ok, just follow them step by step. If Honda was going to make it an option to install this accessory, they could have made it a bit simpler, I think. Having to remove the entire trunk seemed like a lot of work to have to do when the two plates are right there. Got a one day pack to mount on it, which fits my rainsuit nicely. I don't believe you want to carry anything heavy on the trunk rack, due to cracking the trunk shell. Though I know I overloaded the bag I carried on my 08 Goldwing. |
| I just added these to my GW and the install was easy peasy !!...I must admit I had a little reserve about them because they are not made out of glass but when I installed them and went riding it didn't really matter. For me, it's just getting used to the line in the mirror. Either way I'm glad I did this addition to the wing. Get them I don't think you would be disappointed. Now let's find something else to add !! |
| If you hate your stuff rattling around in your trunk...you need it! And, at half the price of the "other" for the same quality it a no-brainer. Besides who doesn't like the WingStuff logo? Great products. |
| Ordered based on size chart and fits snug, not to small but a t-shirt and thin sweat shit would be the most I would get in cold weather with both liners installed. Quality is very good, with easy removal and install of the liners, zippers appear to be strong and easy to use. The outer pockets are big and easy to get into even with gloves and rear map pocket is really big. really like the vents as there are big ones on the chest that can be snapped open for good air flow, as well as in the upper arms and good exhaust on the back. Comfortable to ride in and over all very happy with the purchase, get a lot of jacket for a good price compared with other bigger brand names in the US. It came with a heavy duty hanger and I kept he plastic liner to cover it when being stored at home. This jacket is more green in my opinion than khaki which isn't problem just a comment. |
| Very good construction, no loose threads for defects. Ordered based on size charge and fit was what was expected. Both liners are easy to take out and install. Pockets are good size and it is nice that the thigh vents can be snapped back on hot days for good air flow. Like that they ship with a heavy plastic cover and hanger for when they are being stored at home. At this price point it appears it is a very good product for the money. Have not ridden in heavy rain to say anything about how well they do, and to warm now to speak about the insulation. Not a complaint more of a comment they are listed as Khaki/Grey but really are Green/Grey to me khaki is more of tan color than green. |
