| I’m only giving it 4 stars for now because i haven’t owned it long enough but from what i see so far it’s probably a 5 star product. It arrived quickly. Easy to install to install. But be ready the the attachments are clearly marked left and right very nice but you will have to make some slight adjustments. Easy to do I did it by hand in a vise. Has good weight offer good protection. Easy to put on and of for maintenance. Bottom line if you need one this is a good one i can recommend from my experience with it so for. Hope this helps. |

| Damn, the reviews are 100% true. Absolutely the worst. During installation I needed a pair of needle nose pliers and a hammer to get them in. Got them in or so I thought. While walking form inside back out to the bike apparently one of them was not really seated and disappeared into the abyss of my parking lot. I have a email into Kuryakyn and hopefully they will send out replacement pins. These pins truly need to come preinstalled as others have stated. |

| I needed a new helmet for quite awhile and I decided to go with the Nolan N40-5. Naturally not all helmets fit all heads the same. This is only one of two helmets I’ve ever found that fit me comfortably and of course at first it will be a bit snug but that’s as it should be. It’s beginning to feel a little better after a couple of weeks.The liners are easy to remove and clean. It also has the inner sun shield which has a light blue tint, which I really like because it’s a lot easier to see things clearly when using it. Some helmets use a darker sun shield and it’s harder to see through those depending on the lighting conditions outside. I like the lighter sunshield because sometimes on brighter days I use it in combination with my regular sunglasses. It is easy to lower and raise the sunshield via a small lever mounted on the left side of the helmet at the pivot point of the visor.It has a nice wide visor that does a great job of blocking the sun. It comes with a face shield that can be used in combination with the visor. The shield slides up easily between the visor and the helmet. You can remove the shield completely and just have the visor on there and there are a couple of pieces included to cover the space left by the visor when you aren’t using it.It also has a great air vent system. Even with my windshield all the way up, I can feel airflow coming into the helmet which will definitely help on hotter days.There is an option for an LED brake light that can be installed at the back of the helmet. I plan on purchasing that option later on and will update my review after I have installed and used it.All in all, I am very satisfied with this helmet. |
| Would have gave a 5 star rating except for the fasteners. Manufacturers should have included nylon insert nuts and lock washers. Acorn nuts will be replaced as soon as I make a trip to hardware store. I will install nylon insert nuts with lock washers. Other than this oversight, the belly pan is seems strong enough to protect underside in my opinion. Good insurance. I will feel a lot better when I put proper fasteners on. |
| I installed the Belly Pan on my 2018 Gold Wing DCT Tour on Jan. 31, 2022. Directions stated that the front of pan could be mounted above or below the plastic cover but I was unable to slide the pan in above the plastic cover far enough to get the rear of the pan raised to clear the center stand and onto the rear mounting bolt, so I first installed it under the plastic cover. Had to make so adjustments to the preformed front brackets but when all attached, there was some space between the bottom of the plastic cover and the top of the pan which I didn't like as debris could get hung up there. So I removed the pan and made a slight upward bend in the front portion of the pan (just above the Wingstuff cutout) which then allowed the pan to slide above the plastic cover and clear the bottom of the engine. Had to use a flat screwdriver to help pry the plastic cover down on each side of the front of the pan so it could slip forward far enough to be able to raise the rear of the pan and clear the center stand in order to attach the rear bolt. Inserting the front of pan above the plastic cover also helps support the front of the pan as the two front aluminum brackets are a bit flimsy. Mounting the pan this way will avoid an object from catching the front edge of the pan. |
