OOP'S I lost the the big one. I found it and glued it on with gorilla glue--- Well needless to say I had to buy these replacement pads, Don't use gorilla glue.

A remarkable little item for big safety! Works GREAT. Thanks "big time" to Big Bob for his e-mail instructions, could not have done it without his step by step instructions. This link has instructions for mounting unit in the trunk & to operate the trunk brake lights: https://greyrockfarm.com/ |
If you don’t have one buy one. Making the cut is easy just think of your bank manager. I made two short trips since fitting the backrest and must say it’s made a huge difference. Its looks like part of the saddle. Great product, good price.
Looks Great and pretty easy to put on.. it is a nice tight fit so now moving at all... Well worth the money.
Great product and look great on the bike but I am not convinced that the sticky pads which hold on the pieces are strong enough. I easily removed two of the pieces after I stuck them on and needed to add extra pads myself to insure they stayed on properly.

After drilling hole in left compartment, easy plug n use It is a standard plug size. Great for general charging use. |
basically the same complaint as the the other folks who have bought and installed this aftermarket item. it looked good and installation was fairly simple but the loading coil assembly seperated an eight of an inch, so that the upper part of the antenna, started wobbling after a month of riding and i can't find anyway to tighten it up. contemplating drilling a small hole in the loading coil assembly, and pouring the plastic cylinder full of epoxy to stabilize the two pieces.
Beautiful pegs. I got the lighted ones. Instructions could have been clearer. The pictures on the instructions suck. Had to go to another website to see different angles to make sure I was installing them correctly.
Good quality product and not expensive. A nice finish to the trunk and saddlebags.
These are easy to install and really add to the look of the 1800 from the side. Only word of caution is to make sure that you keep the top from contacting the frame until you have it exactly in place.
First thing my co-rider insisted I put on the 1800. She loves them and they are great in the winter keeping the cold air off my hands. Easy to install.
Had them on my 1500 and they are even better on the 1800. The bottom one directs the heat off my legs in the summer on on to them in the winter. Absolutely essential for the 1800.
