Looks great and super easy to install,[takes 10 min]. Nice addition
I bought the Kuryakyn Luggage rack from WingStuff and got it really fast. I had my honda dealer put it on for me. I was concerned about the weight of the rack but it is still easy to life up and lower. As always you need to watch how much weight you put on it. I would highly recommend this rack for any GW. Make sure if you don't have lights that you leave room for them to put on later.
Looks great fairly easy to install with some gentle persuasion. One note of cautions. If you install the Chrome Finder extender it will jam against the Lower Cowl when the suspension is lowered to the lowest setting making steering of the bike difficult. Works ok with suspension in the highest setting. I had to remove my Finder Extender for safety reasons.
This is a piece of junk. The lower cord hookup won't fit a standard clip retainer. The volume control seems to have only "on" and "off". The PTT works about half the time. I read the reviews, but tried to save a few $$ & ended up putting it in the trash. Should have paid the difference & ordered the J&M set in the first place. I have now corrected that.
I installed them on my 05 Hannigan trike, but I had to trim the inside edge of the right foot fairing so the the brake pedal would work. I didn't see in the instructions about puting the toe piece, but I looked at the picture on the box. I may have to put some lithium grease on the front part of the shifter. A good looking asset to the trike.
Installed these on my 06 burgundy 1800 with Kury chrome rotor covers, instructions were very detailed on both the chrome rotor covers and these tri-colored ring of fire. Used the soapy water to install on the rotor cover and it worked great, they are on there very well. I recieved everything I needed and these things are so bright, you can see them very well in the daylight as well. Will keep all informed as to how long they will stay that way, haven't ridden it at night yet, but I know it will turn heads with the light they put out.
Have always used Plexus, but thought I'd give this a try. I found it to not be as good as Plexus. It requires much more effort to clean various parts of the bike, is streaky, and has a greasy feel. Plexus is quick & easy to use....spray on, wipe off, it's done.
Gives the trike a look of power and attitude with the eyebrows showing a serious intent, plus looks goood and sets it off! Chris
lIKED RICK H PICTURE OF THIS ITEM CAN,T WAIT TO INSTALL BOUGHT THIS ITEM AT DEALER PAID TO MUCH LESSON LEARNED DEFINANLY NEED MORE ROOM FOR CLEANING TRUNK.
Just installed my K&N filter to day and found after a short spin that throttle/ power response was much impproved. Its a big undertaking to change this filter especially on the airbag model but for any wing drivers living in Kilikenny, Ireland Tommy Campion is your only man aided by his two helpers Joe and Ollie.

Installed the ERGO II yesterday and I am very pleased with the quality and look of these foot rests. I had trouble understanding the installation instructions at first so I went to the Küryakyn web site. I found the installation instructions there were different and much better than those enclosed with the product. I had no trouble at all installing with those instructions. I wonder why they would be different??? Anyway, I would have given it 5 star if not for the poor instructions they enclosed which wasted about an hour of my time! |

I bought the rack and risers together and had no problem with fit or installation. It looks good with the spoiler. I used painters tape (soft) on the trunk, attached the risers to the rack and laid out the location. Next I backed the screws out of the rack just enough so they contacted the tape first and lightly pressed each leg leaving a dimple in the tape, dot the dimple with sharpie, drill and attach. |
