Installed a headset in my wife's helmet and my helmet, both are Shark helmets. Had to modify my helmet for the speakers, but was not really a problem. Headsets work great and install easily. Very thin speakers and sound really great.

This is a great bag for touring. Purchased to fill the gap until I could get a trailer, I'm finding that the combination of security (ability to take off the rack when I go into the hotel room for the night, while out touring) and practicality (good amount of storage) may mean that I don't get a trailer for some time to come. Like the security (connection to the rack) by the use of the same manuf's cooler rack that is drilled out for locking steel rods that slip through the base of the bag. Looking forward to years of use! |
Only am going to get approx. 9000 miles on the factory Dulops. No vibration noticed, minimal cupping. Am going with Stones before I go on a 4000 mile road trip this June. Will report on them after I have put on some miles. 1 Star for now due to the fact I have not ridden on them yet!
I went from Dunlop 3's to the Metzlers and loved the change on my 1500. I think the Metz ride much better w/o nearly the road whine. I just changed the rear out w/12K but the front has alot of tread left. We ride dbl up and usually haul a camper trailer so the cupping on the rear was to be expected. Be sure to monitor your air pressure w/these. My dealer recommended 45psi. I expect I'll be a Metz man from now on.
Found Pegs to be very well made. directions are not easy to follow but take your time and it will all come together. had trouble keeping screws tight around crash bar but they finally caught and so far have held. looks great on bike good buy that's for sure
Finally Wingstuff has these, I purchased from another source, but had to give a reveiw here! These are so great, hands never tire, best buy of the year for a little price, makes those long trips worth rideing!

My Air Hawk lasted about 8 years. My first one developed a leak around the base of the valve stem and they replaced it. I learned real fast to keep it out of the sun. The replacement lasted 8 years when one of the segments cracked. I put a tire patch on it and it held up until while in Mexico I forgot and left it on the bike and someone walked off with it. They didn't get much. So all in all it wasn't too pricey. Be sure to check it over real well in a year and 9 months and if there are any cracks around the stem, return it for a new one and keep it out of the sun. |
nice fit, easy install, on the 05 no heated grips the instructions are right on, under the old unlock panel, innboard, the plactic covered on, the red unsued connector is it, but it is way up in the cover almost missed it, plug in and way u go, while u have the upper tray out the coolant cap is right under it,
I purshased the trunk, saddlebags, and lower saddlebag LED lights. They really look great. They gave my 1800 a total makeover. I highly recommend all three moldings.
wow!! for the first i had the tire guy to put mine in on install. took it out today and no vibration at 0-90 , it is hooked up. i am soled on them
Buffering, see ya, watery eyes, see ya. Pretty easy to install. Took about 35 mins. No need to drill holes like instructions say. There are instructions for 1500 and 1800s. This windsreen is really tall. Wind goes right over your helmet. Refreshing to be able to see the road clearly. Keeps you warmer too.
They did not fit my 1500 well at all. I had to trim down the tabs to get them to fit but they still don't fit as well as the factory vents. I would not buy these again.
