Chrome Rotor Covers for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7450,   SKU: KU7450

12.02.2012
My old rotor covers with ring of fires attached to outer edges were looking really shabby so I upgraded them with these. Then I bought brand new Boogey Lite Blue TNT light strips and mounted them along the inside edges of these new rotor covers. I also ran the TNT lights directly up to one of my LED switch positions mounted on my right fluid resevoir. Now I have a great sleek look with plain chrome rotor covers and can now turn the lights on and off at my discretion. Get lots of great comments.

Chrome LED Master Cylinder Switch
ITEM CODE: KU7803,   SKU: KU7803

This is the unit I went with to operate the LED lights you see on our bike picture. VERY well made and easy to install. I was a little concerned it may put some glare on the windsheild but it did not. I also installed it on the brake reservoir side and our Garmin Zumo 550 hides it from my view pretty good so I don't always try to look at it and get distracted.

Other styles on the market but this Kuryakyn one, with the nice ridge line adds class. Make sure you clean the area good with alchohol and hold pressure on for a full minute. It won't come off.

Motorcycle Tire Ceramic Balancing Beads
ITEM CODE: PG27738

03.28.2010
Just had new tires installed 400 miles ago. I was talking to my Wing mechanic about a slight vibration I was noticing and he mentioned a lot of riders were using these Dyna Beads with great results. So I ordered the 2) 2oz kit with installation bottle from WingStuff. When it arrived I read the instructions and proceeded to install them. First thing I noticed was that the installation tube needed to be stretched ever so slightly to help with the fitment onto the valve stem. So, I took a round shaft Phillips screwdriver that was a little tight and pushed it into the tube. That relaxed the tube opening just enough to allow the tube to slip easily onto the valve stem. I then started to squeeze the bottle to get the beads to flow. That's when I realized there had to be a faster way. So, I called my co-rider (wife) out to the garage and asked her to continuously tap on the valve stem body from the opposite side of the wheel. Wow! What a difference. The beads just rolled out of the bottle and in about 1-2 minutes tops we were done. Next came the test ride and I must admit the slight vibration was no longer there as long as I kept both hands on the handlebars. I do however still have the "Goldwing Wobble" if I take one hand off the handlebars at about 30-35 mph. That still frustrates me so I'll keep taking the advise I read of always riding with both hands on the handlebars at all times.
