Best material and fit well to the GoldWing |
The previous owner of my bike had a Honda backrest installed, but it didn't work for us. We're older and needed a removable backrest for my wife to get on the bike. It works well for that. I also like the design, which matches well with the stock seat design. As mentioned in other reviews though, the adjustability is limited and doesn't allow the bottom of the backrest to move forward for increased lumbar support. If I had been aware of this I probably would have considered other options. I bought this item from Amazon, not Wingstuff. |
Fitted the Ultimate Seat, sourced through Wingstuff, USA, and tried it out yesterday over a four hour jaunt. Absolutely brilliant! The backrest was particularly welcome as it took away all the stresses and strains I normally experience through my right shoulder and elbow. The GF reported that getting on and off was easier with the little bit of extra clearance (the backrest folds forward). You definitely sit lower into the bike and stopping at the traffic lights with a pillion on board is no longer the anxious time it was. The seat is broader at the rear and narrower at the front. The seat does start off quite-firm but by the end of the trip it was starting to fit me and the GF better. Word of warning: I had to pay customs duties to bring it into Aus (10% of the price = $355) which was an unexpected extra expense. However, the bike is more enjoyable now - and that's pretty important. |
These Passenger floor boards are pricey but man do they look good and do the job. My lady loves them as she now has three different settings to put her feet instead of just one. You get what you pay for and they are premium. |
I have a 2022 bagger. I didn't have a problem with the front brackets that others did. I only had to bend the rt front bracket slightly and was able to do it by hand. The only minor issue I've experienced is when making an aggressive rt turn. The front corner of the pan scrapes. |
As usual, perfect products and great prices. Thos item was easy to install and works great. |
I write this as not a bashing to wing stuff or their product. It just didn’t work for me . I spend 2 days and hour’s trying to make this part work on my bike with out positive results. The pan was not even and I even shimmed on side to attempt to straighten it out which helped but then left the nut only halfway on the bolt. It was still lopsided. One side had contact with the bottom of one of my heat shield tabs with then made noise from the vibration. I just gave up and took it off. I’m sure there are plenty of satisfied customers out there for it looks like a quality pan . Maybe it would have been fine but it bugged me enough to take it off and just hang on my garage wall. I did call a few times and everyone I talked to were helpful so no hard feelings on my end. The other pan which is sold by another company, you have to remove engine bolts so that’s a pass for me . I’ll just ride it stock and hopefully break 100k without issues… hopefully! |
I bought a 18 inch windshield and it was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. I wish I'd gotten the 20 inch, but hey, that's on me. Wingstuff is a great place to get your Goldwing bling. |
Excellent mirrors through Goldwing I had them on! |
Very easy to install. I swapped out two sided tape at top with velcro and didn't use the other tape, just the screws. My concern would be getting the plastic grill off if you use all the tape when its time to replace the air cleaner. The deflectors work well. Cool weather here so have been opening them to pull warm air on me. |
Works and fits exactly as expected. |
Pricey but no mystery in the quality |
