12V DC GL1800 Fairing Power Socket
ITEM CODE: HO08U55MCA101,   SKU: HO08U55MCA101

Absoutely correct everyone! Honda should have included this from the factory! Other than that, very easy to install ... took about 15 minutes ... works like it should. The rubber cover is great for making sure nothing gets inside the socket that shouldn't. The only suggestion I would have is to position the socket so the rubber cover pulls down from the top and lays on the bottom of the side pocket when in use ... it is much easier to remove and put back on this way.

Utopia Driver Backrest for GL1800 2001-2017
ITEM CODE: UT18MC12,   SKU: UT18MC12

The best driver backrest on the market. I have had four over the years from a Valkyrie through three Goldwings. My most recent Goldwing has the heated seat ... no problem with the installation as long as you follow the instructions staying away from the wiring in the seat.

Kuryakyn Passenger Transformer Floorboards for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7006,   SKU: KU7006

03.01.2011
The Wife absoutely loves these! Taking the stock boards apart and using the spring & ball bearing in the Kuryakyn set is a pain. You have to get just the right angle to slide it all together ... for that, I only give 4 stars. Honda has a patent on the spring & ball bearing assembly in their stock passenger floorboards so they can't be duplicated. Just be patient with it and they will slide together.

Kuryakyn Chrome Floorboards w/Heel Shifter
ITEM CODE: KU4038,   SKU: KU4038

First thing I ordered for my new Goldwing. I had a set of these on my last Goldwing. After selling it to buy a new Goldwing, the first thing I missed was the floorboards and heel / toe shifter. Very easy to install! The only tedious part is installing the new brake pedal ... making sure it lines up properly without pushing on the brake light switch. Just be patient and it will go on like it should.

Kuryakyn Chrome Floorboards w/Heel Shifter
ITEM CODE: KU4038,   SKU: KU4038

Good product.. install brake pedal as noted on image... this will minimize your brake pedal travel and provide more "grab" than available with stock pedal. Also, both the heel and the toe shifters should be "loctite" and tightened well, as they might work themselves loose, and Kuryakyn does not sell them separately, however, you might get them from tech support for $12.00 and $10.00 shipping :-( Further, shifting might take some getting used to, especially toe shifting when wearing steel toed or combat boots. Helps on long rides with foot positioning - and might supplement highway pegs for added comfort - additionally, they look great - RL

Got the bearings on the bike and even with the tires messed up from the stock junk bearings my wing is now smooth and the shakes are gone at all speeds.I will be sending the old bearings back to Honda with a nice letter.I had reported the problem with them at 3500 miles. They should atleast give the cost of the bearings back and should get labor also but that will never happen because I am not A CERTIFIED CLUELESS
MECHANIC.Anyone can do this if you are able to change the oil in your auto.

This is a very bright light. I added two of them to the back of my trailer. Wow. Running light and Brake light. I was also able to wire it in to be an extra turn signal. I used two on the of these on the back rail of the trailer . They look great and added extra safety. well worth the price.

F4 Scratch Resistant Clear or Tinted Windshields for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG20048

02.27.2011
I ordered the +4 model. I'm 6-1, but my upper torso is long, equivalent to about a 6-4 counterpart. Took a little less than 2 hours to install it with the toughest part scraping the old tape off, which also took up most of the time. The video instructions were pretty much right on except I had a little velcro left over which I used on the ridges below the top panel to pad the windshield a bit. Without it, it would have been slightly loose on the edges. Install the velcro tape carefully as you will see it after installation. The F4 does is not tinted at the bottom as the stock windshield is. After install, took the Wing out for a 2 hour ride to the coast and back and found that wind buffeting was significantly reduced to the driver. My open face helmet was basically clear of any wind buffeting and I could hear the Wing's stereo speakers clearer and louder than before with the wind noise interference. In fact, I now noticed a wind drag on my hands which wasn't as noticeable before because the entire area was subjected to wind currents. My only complaint so about the F4 is that after install I noticed 2 parallel scratches along the very top left corner when riding in just the right sun exposure. I know I didn't scratch the windshield during install because 1) I was very careful and 2) I left the protective cling plastic on the upper portion of the windshield and didn't remove it until after install. A minor annoyance buying something new, but fortunately does not interfere with any important driving visibility. It's just not worth complaining about it. Had it been in the center of the windshield, that would have been a different story. One concern I have is will the windshield scratch? F4 advertises it with a windshield wiper brushing steel wool over the finish without marring the polycarbonate lexan and taking repeated hits with a large mallet. Yet they warn you not to clean the windshield with a towel that you used on the body of the bike or drop on the ground/floor as it could pick up debris and scratch the polycarbonate finish. We'll see how this stands up to time. Will report back especially if the F4 shows scratches easily.
