| After taking up the rear in a 3 bike 12000 mile jaunt through Canada and the US, I saw lots of brake applications and decided that I wanted a light more at eye level. So I went with this trunk spoiler and am glad I did. It looks fantastic and the paint matches perfectly. Great quality and best yet, an easy install. Even though I've successfully added several accessories that required drilling through the body of the Wing I still get apprehensive when I have to permanently modify the Wing and there's no room for error. The templates worked great - held them in place with painter's tape. For those of you with the Kuryakyn trunk rack (with risers), the spoiler fit cleanly under the rack. The LED's are bright and really stand out when the brake is applied. They should provide an extra level of safety. I ordered the spoiler with the 'Clear Lense Trunk Spoiler Run/Brake/Flashing' light (part#EC01320). That item was delayed and I still haven't received it. Will report on that item after I get and install it. But I can say that the spoiler, even stand alone, is a great investment in safety. |
| It's small, light and comes in a nice case to keep everything together. It is a good just in case item. I hope I never have to use it. |

I've already reviewed this item but I had to come back and stress how important this item is. I was riding in central TX today and saw a Goldwing broken down on the side of the road. He had hit a piece of metal in the road (approx 4x4x4) barely managed to keep it upright. Ruined his front tire then hit the motor and knocked a hole in it. All of his engine oil was on the ground behind his bike. If he had had a belly pan on his bike, he would only have had to replace the front tire. That looked like a very expensive repair job. Stay safe! |
| I bought 2 sets of the 18 inch just to have in my side bag just in case. They are well made at a good price. Hope I never have to use them. |
| This is very useful for cell phone, camera or other small items. I don't have any problem closing the tank lid as another reviewer reported. It can be difficult to insert and remove the key. I am planning to get a key made and just leave a nub sticking out just to open the gas tank door. I will leave it in place when at home or out riding and remove it when I park at a hotel or other at night. |

This item runs very large. I initially ordered a 3x and had to send it back for a 2x. I could've probably gotten a 1x and still fit. Aside from that, the cooling works great. It was better after a few uses. It last about 1.5 to 2 hours in 95 degree heat. I initially let most of the water drain and squeezed the rest out. I now leave it very wet, my clothes get a little wet but it dries quickly and the clothes being wet (moist) makes you that much cooler. I would definately recommend this item and would purchase it again. My only complaint is the sizing issue. A little warning would be nice. ****ORDER ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN YOU NORMALLY WEAR**** |

Fits the 2012 Gold Wing Airbag model as well -- the 2012 models all use the same trunk. No template is provided so you will have to take your time measuring everything before drilling. It only takes a couple of minutes to install once you have your holes located. Try to use a fabric tape measure or flexible rubber ruler so you don't scratch the paint. |

Bought a red and blue pair to give each grip a different color, my 2012 Gold Wing Airbag is black -- so this looks great with the clam shell grips, throttle boss and weighted ends. They don't cost much to give your bike just a bit of color. |
|
Piece of cake to install. Use a little bit of blue loctite on the screws so they won't work loose over time. Add a colored trim ring to personalize the look of your grips and get yourself the throttle boss while you're at it, you'll be very satisfied with your purchase. |

Nice little key chain. I like it much more than the Honda one. I won't knock off any stars, and it's only a couple of bucks -- but we should get these for free with every order. It's free advertising for Wing Stuff anyway. |
| I really love this item. It really does take the fatigue off your hands when riding and you're not using cruise control. Easy to add on to the clam shell grips. Get some weighted ends to really give your bike a great look. |

Fits 2012 (airbag model) and likely all 2012 variants. Super easy to install, nice tight fit and really give the bike a different look. I added the weighted ends, throttle boss and a colored accent ring. Looks sweet. Much more comfortable to grip the throttle due to it's larger size so your hands might not cramp up as much. I haven't used the heater (because it's almost a hundred degrees out), but if they say it works -- then it should work. |
