Works as Advertised
I bought two of these Kewl Vests one for me and one for the wife. We have used these for the past three summers and they work great even in humidity, but not as effective. Once the temps reach 100 degrees you will have to stop often to re-soak due to quick evaporation, but they work! Great product two thumbs up! |

This item runs very large. I initially ordered a 3x and had to send it back for a 2x. I could've probably gotten a 1x and still fit. Aside from that, the cooling works great. It was better after a few uses. It last about 1.5 to 2 hours in 95 degree heat. I initially let most of the water drain and squeezed the rest out. I now leave it very wet, my clothes get a little wet but it dries quickly and the clothes being wet (moist) makes you that much cooler. I would definately recommend this item and would purchase it again. My only complaint is the sizing issue. A little warning would be nice. ****ORDER ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN YOU NORMALLY WEAR**** |

Shame on Wingstuff for not checking their stock. I ordered a 2XL based on a report they ran small. I got a circus tent. It must be a 4XL or more. The supplier should be fired. Now I have to ship it back at my expense. I needed it for a trip, so now I don't even know what size to order with a 47-48 chest. |

We got ours in lime green. Looks good and made well. Has pockets all over. Works just like they are supposed to. The thing is I read a review that they are small to size and I order 2x large. Well I wear size 40 pants and it looks like someone moved out and left some vacant areas. Thanks |

I just received one of the 2 vests I ordered. It came in silver instead of the lime green that was advertise. I have contacted WS and am waiting their reply. I rate it with three stars because of the color difference. |

Ditto to what Keith said about this vest. To add: The first time I soaked the vest I noticed no slime!! The large pocket in the front comes in handy too. Something else I noticed right away; it does not have to fit tight to cool. With the vent on the windshield open and traveling at highway speeds I was very comfortable with temps in high 90's. |

I found this vest while looking for a good high visibility vest to ride with. This vest had the right color and a very large amount of 3M reflective tape front and back. Then I realized it was a cooling vest, and bought it. I have used the vest most every time I ride, it is very light. I have used it wet, three times and found it to work surprisingly well. You have to soak the vest for 1-2 min. I got hot one day (riding with it dry) and decided to get it wet to cool down. I soaked it in a MacDonald’s hand sink (really funny looks from people wondering what I was drowning in the sink!). You would think that it might not work on a Goldwing with the full faring and windshield, but it does. My back gets plenty of backwash of air and you can really feel it cool you for 3-4 hours. The only weird thing about it is that the buttons (snaps) are reversed. The left side snaps into the right…no big deal just odd. So far, it seems that it will last a long time. I make sure that I hang it up after use, to be sure it’s completely dry before storing it in the saddle bag again. |
