| Lokk great, easy to install. Tha fairing on the 2012 is a little wide for them to be used as comfortable as on my 1998; but they work great. A little disappointed they don't come with the option of the different length arms when ordering the floorboards. Mine are unlighted so I didn't have to deal with wiring. |
| Fitment was a tad off, but they look great. Makes the 2012 look like the way a wing should! I would give it 4-stars for fitment being a little off but looks keep it at 5-stars. |
| A must have for the wife, she loves how they offer a difference in foot position. Yes, having to deal with using the ball-bearing and spring from the OEM was a little bit of a hassle, but all went well and was easy to install. |
| Fits a 2012 very good with clearance for the OEM spoiler. Follow instructions for drilling the mounting holes and there shouldn't be any problem. I did use the star washers when mounting. |
| Installed fairly easy on my 2012. I liked how all the mounting points were hidden compared to other brands. Yes, it was a little tedious getting the down brackets connected, but aren't a lot of accessories on a Wing. I rated 4-stars due to no easy way to mount a wiring receiver plug on the hitch. I would purchase this hitch again for a 2012 Wing. |
| Placed the black one in same area as others. As for the protective plastic cover removing the lettering. I just used a razor blade and simply cut the plastic cover along the side of the guage and peeled off excess. The used black electrical tape to reenforce bonding on the sides. Cut off excess electrical take. Looking at it, you would never now the difference. Protected the lettering. I will see how long it last. Great product. |
| I put these on 2 weeks ago, haven't road much since, but I think I'll like them. Like everyone says the mounting design sucks, they are design to be mounted at an angle. What I did was put them on the angle I wanted, took the mount to the grinder and made a flat spot, then drilled a spot for the set screw with my drill press. I think this how they should have been made |

| The filter fit fine, I didnt have to trim anything. The installation however is another story (though its not K&N's fault). Just take your time and be ready to remove a LOT of screws and disconnect a LOT of connecters. I picked a rainy day and spent 6 or 7 hours putting it in.Glad they only need cleaning every 25,000 miles. Having a fridge nearby and stocked with beer helps. |
| I got these just for the heck of it, but they really look great! They add a little flash to the grips for little money and almost no effort. |
