| These go on easy and really made the back of the bike look great. |

I've used 4 different covers on gl1800,but this is the best better than the much more expendsuve honda line cover |
| Went on very easy you can feel the differance but I have not gone on a long ride yet. will let you know how they realy feel after I get a couple of hundred miles on. |
| Easy install, and the look is fantastic. I was going to go with the chrome version of these since I had them on my previous bike, but I am SO glad I opted for black. They set off the controls and talk about comfortable! Two things of note. First, the instructions are written as though there are two tubes of adhesive. There is only one. This isn't the first time I've found Kuryakyn instructions lacking, but so be it. The second thing is that the instructions say you should cut the old grips off. Don't! Just work a long-handled screwdriver up along the handlebars and work it carefully around inside the grip. The grip will then slide right off. You need patience and strength but it worked very well for me, and now I have a set of spare grip. |
| UPDATE: Kuryakyn Rep called me within 5 minutes of leaving a message. Said they will sent out a new complete replacement set as soon as they are available in April 2012. Can't ask for better than that!! |

See NHTSA #11E-054. https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/acms/cs/jaxrs/download/doc/UCM360819/RCDNN-11E054-3216.pdf Wife loves them, but the left one broke at the mounts yesterday when wife readjusted in her seat doing about 50mph. Car behind me ran over it and broke it to pieces. Just found out about the recall today. Wingstuff directed me to Kuryakyn customer service at 1-866-296-4728. |

I've owned one of these for about 3 seasons now, originally I had a very uneven surface to work with which made this almost impossible to use. Two years ago that was resolved with a new floor and now I feel that I can give a proper review. First of all it is critical to get your bike centered on this as best as possible. If you aren't closed to centered you will find it very difficult to move your bike. This might not be as much of an issue for lighter bikes but with a wing it seem imperative. One trick I use is to put a piece of wood on the floor and roll the bike's back tire on it. this makes it easier to slide the Dolly under the bike without a lot of fuss. This also makes it a lot easier to get the bike up on its center stand. Once on the stand is where the fun begins! Even with the bike centered in the dolly you will find that it is very easy to pull the bike towards you but pushing it away from you can be a challenge to the point that I even pushed the bike right off the dolly once which really put the bike in a precarious position. Oh and I use the same board trick when I am taking the bike off the center stand while on the dolly and I've never really had an issue. Bottom line I bought one, I have it and will use it when I have to put my bike away. Would I buy another one? No I just don't think that is really made for such a heavy bike. |
| Foungd theses very easy to install. Had previously installed their lighted front wheel reflector and they both look and work as turn signals. Great finish and plug and play made it simple install. |
| Installed at the same time that I was installing Show Chrome fog lights on my 2005. Had read reports about cowling not lining up with the fog lights but had no problem. Slight misalignment of some of the holes but nothing that was easily remedied. |
| Bought a "wingstuff" shirt last year great quality. This shirt is thin, like you could rip it putting it on. XL also seems a little small. this shirt would be a better value at $15.00, but it is not worth the $30.00. |
| Like others, I removed the fender. Made for an easy install. Also, like others stated, the instructions don't mention right and left side rubbers. I guess they think they are self explanatory. They also don't mention the fender aluminum step spacers, which I had left over. Other than that, great product! |
| Bought this with the Kuryakyn trailer hitch. Instalation couldn't be any easier. The reason for 3 stars is that when I pluged the harness in and started checking the wires with a test light. the left blinker worked fine but when I checked the right blinker it didn't work and the radio cut off. I unpluged the harness and everthing went back to working properly. I re-installed the harness and now none of my blinkers work. I disconected the harness again and still have no blinkers on the bike. I called Kuryakyn and talked to a tech. He advised he hasn't heard of this before. The bike is now in the shop and they are trying to figure out what happened to the blinkers. All i can do is sit back and hope they find the cause and it doesn't cost me a fortune to get my bike back. Going to let the tech know what the shop finds and hopefully get some help from them. I have alot of Kuryakyn stuff and this is the first problem I have had with one of their products. |
