Yes they are loud, but...
| If you don't care about real fidelity, yeah these are "louder" than stock. However it comes at a price...a beaming upper midrange off that chrome dust cap that will part your hair at any raised volume. Any decent treble over 5k is buried in a sea of midrange. I had these and the matching larger model in the front fairing in my 2010 and both have the same problem. No tone adjustments could compensate. I finally traded these out for the 4.5" show chrome coaxial and the installed 6.5 Polk DB652s in the front. Night and day diff. |

Perfect speaker
| Installed them in the bike one month one stop playing the had the cracking sound. Went back to the original speakers the reason I'm giving it a one star there is no zero. Love my goldwing |

Sounds just fine at speed
| They work. fine. I don't expect (or care if) the Allman Brothers to sound like I am listening to them on Klipsch speakers in my home when I am hearing them at 70mph, accompanied by tires, wind, and that car with the busted muffler. Anyone hoping for audiophile quality should probably not listen to music on a moving motorcycle. They fit perfect. The fronts took me forever to install, but that is owing to Honda's genius and sadistic billion plastic part engineering. A good purchase. |

Upgraded Speakers

I ordered a pair of these about two years ago, installed them in my wing. They sound very nice. I now have the second wing I plan to trike (Once Motor Trike send kit to installer), I ordered a pair for this bike which arrived today. I can't wait to install them. I do however plan on taking a little hint from another Wingstuff customer and spray the speaker housings and apply the polyester linen for even better sound. I also ordered the faring speakers for this bike, they are on back order! I'll be ready for them when the arrive in September! I've noticed one thing though - these upgraded speakers sound better with mp3 music over the radio!!! |

| I ordered a pair installed crackled sounded like they were blown out on day one....Wingstuff hooked me up casue i was leaving for a 8,000 mile trip in a few days got the replacement set they sounded like garbage too. put stock goldwing back in!!! the front ones do sound better but don't waste your time and money on this garbage for the rear! |

Sound like old Philco plastic radio speaker
| I would have put the originals back in, but I put my thumb through one of them when switching them out. The 20 year old OEM sound better than these. |
