Ultragard Gold Wing Half Cover Gray
ITEM CODE: BB4458G,   SKU: BB4458G

A great cover with a price to match. Mine was delivered in four days. Like most have stated, the cover fits nicely and looks good. I haven't used it yet,, so I don't know about its ability to keep moisture off the bike. I didn't like the unprotected hooks, so I used a piece of drip line hose to cover the metal hooks. It took a little effort to force the line over the hooks, but once completed it looks like it was manufactured that way.

Install was pretty straight forward. Went around the piece with a flat file to take care of any sharp edges, removed the plastic covering (on both sides), removed the four acorn nuts, pulled the cover away and slid the pan into place. Just remember to leave everything loose until you get the front piece into place and then re-tighten everything up.

As others have said, the foil that Honda wraps around the plastic tank doesn't offer much protection from an impact - now I have that much less to worry about. Nice product and per usual WingStuff is quick and easy to deal with. Thanks!

This pad is better than excellent! It makes any seat better and folds up to carry easy. I didn't care for the strap to hold it on the seat so I simply cut off the snap straps and put some velcro on it and that works even better. Now I can use it on both my bikes and even those restaurants that have hard seating.

I agree with the others, a total rip off and over priced. But if people keep paying for it at this price then of course they will keep charging the price.

Don't like the price shop for another brand. I know I will if that is even possible.

Handlebar Riser Shims
ITEM CODE: BB52698,   SKU: BB52698

These worked good for me and will take only about 30 minutes to install with proper instructions.

I am 6'0" tall with wide shoulders and long arms. The stock handlebar position caused my shoulders to slouch since they were so low. I just wanted to raise my bars so the other more expensive options out there didn't appeal to me. Many of them move the bars closer to each other. This modification requires no changes to the wires or cables since the shim is only about 1/4" thick. It is thicker on one end than the other so it angles the bars to a 1 1/2" higher position.

The instructions that come with the risers are bad, but hopefully these tips will make this job a breeze as it was for me. The instructions mention a 5mm allen wrench and a black push pin, but my 2010 Goldwing did not have these.

- To remove the speaker cover/dash panel, two speaker tweeter wires, and the wire plug next to the ignition switch read this thread. You will have that done in a couple of minutes after reading or watching this.

https://gl1800riders.com/forums/showthread.php?196034-06-10-Dash-Removal-(non-air-bag)&highlight=speaker+removal

That thread does a good job of describing and showing video of how and where to lift up on the plastic cover to the left of the ignition key as the dash/speaker cover just snaps into place. It also shows you the best way to disconnect the three wire plugs.

- Next you just need to remove four bolts with an 8mm socket that hold the gauge assembly on so you can lift this slightly out of the way for access underneath.

- Next remove the two screws with a stubby phillips screwdriver that hold the handlebar bolt cover on. These two screws will be replaced with the included longer screws and white plastic spacers.

- Next a 14mm socket to remove the two handlebar bolts out. Do one side at a time.

- Install the riser shims with the narrow side towards the front and bolt place the 14mm bolts back in to hold the handlebars.

- Install the other side riser shim.

- Place the handlebar cover back in with the two new screws and plastic spacers placed under the cover. I mixed a little 5 minute epoxy and glued the spacers to the bottom of the cover on mine just so that they don't fall out now or in the future in case I ever remove the cover again.

- Plug in your three wires and snap the front speaker/dash cover back into place and you are done.

With as time consuming as it is to replace the air filter on a GL1800, this filter is a must. Here in the desert filters take a beating. K&N leads the way in performance and value.

Antenna Flagpole w/Flag for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU4233,   SKU: KU4233

05.24.2012
I have had this flag on my Goldwing for several years. It's got well over 20,000 miles on it and still looks good. I like the fact that I can remove the flag by unscrewing the tip and sliding off. I do find that the flag will wrap around the pole but will also unwarp itself if you keep riding. One word or caution, I purchased a new pole and flag last year and it looks like you can no longer remove the tip to remove or replace the flag. Seems like it's all one piece now and of course the flag can not be removed without removing the tip. Not really too worried because the flags seem to last for a very long time.

5 Pin Stereo Headset for Open Face/Modular Helmet w/ Boom
ITEM CODE: IMHS-G130P,   SKU: IMHS-G130P

I bought this headset for my modular helmet. It installed Okay but not very easy. The wires separated shortly after installing under normal use. I will probably end up ditching this headset. I will attempt fixing it if I can. I will stick w/ J&M or other brands from now on. IMC is cheap & not worth any savings you get.
