Centramatic Stainless Wheel Balancers for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CTMGW100-102,   SKU: CTMGW100-102

I read many many reviews of this product before purchasing it. I actually read on one site where some reviews stated they would take the cupping out of the tires. I waited until my tires were cupping (Not that long.) After installing the Centramatic balancer, the cupping did come out of both tires. I purchased new tires and I currently have at least twenty thousand miles on the front tire, Dunlop elite 3(honda shop forget to write milage down when tires installed) Later service milage is used. The back tire got an unwanted visit from a nail had to be replaced. I am getting ready to go on a trip and will replace the front tire before going just to be sure. I believe it should have 2 or 3 thousand miles tread life on it; however, I will it replace before the trip to be safe.

The bike feels more solid in the corners. I did not see a noticable change in widny riding like some others stated. This product will more than pay for itself just in extra tread life of the tires. 100 percent yes vote from me!!!

Cool Rider Beverage Holder

I had resisted buying much more costly cup holders watching for something more affordable. For the price this holder does the job well. I have even used it to throw change into for tolls.

Quick Release Drink Holder for GL1800, GL1500

This holder works well attached to the passenger seat grip. I removed the quick disconnect and attached it with a screw, washer and nut to make it less tempting for someone to grab it when my trike is parked. It does the same job as those costing a whole lot more.

Universal Kickstand Extender
ITEM CODE: KU7109,   SKU: KU7109

I bought this along with the new floorboards and heel/toes shifter kit from Kuryakyn. I am guilty of not reading the reviews prior to purchasing. As other purchasers have mentioned I am unable to tighten the screws enough to keep it from moving on the stand leg. I have removed it from my Goldwing and chocked it up to buyer beware.

Utopia Driver Backrest for GL1800 2001-2017
ITEM CODE: UT18MC12,   SKU: UT18MC12

I had a Utopia backrest on my '06 goldwing, I totaled the bike last year, made it out alive then bought a slightly used '08 GW. The bike came with a kuryakyn backrest w/storage pouch that lists for about $75.00 more than the utopia. I seriously miss my utopia backrest and now have one on order for my '08. The utopia backrest flexes back slightly where as the kury is fixed and does not allow for any movement, it's like having your back against a wall, the only way to go is forward. The utopia is supported with a stiff and very strong but slightly flexable steel bar allowing flexability just enough so I can adjust myself for comfort while riding. One note on installing the utopia backrest, you must remove the seat from the bike then cut a slit into the top of it and through the padding in order to install the steel bar, generally it installs easily and I am no mechanic. I'll sell the kuryakyn backrest on ebay!

BIG Thanks to Don at WingStuff for this gem. Easy to install and one of the most important after-market items. As mentioned in another review, this should be standard equipment on a Wing. The first safety/mechanical feature a Wing owner needs to install is this belly pan.

Quality EBC Brake Pads
ITEM CODE: PG03605

06.05.2012
I'm on a drill team with my GL1800, and the maneuvers in our routines involve riding the rear brakes for long periods of time to increase extreme slow speed control of the bike. My local store was out of stock on Hondaline pads once, so I put EBC rear brakes on the night before a practice, and after only a few minutes into our routine at practice the next morning, these pads overheated and stopped working. I stopped by another dealer on the way home and picked up a pair of genuine Hondaline pads. I will NEVER EVER consider EBC pads again. They just simply don't work.

The rear pads wear very quickly. Have gone back to Hondaline pads. They may be a little more expensive but last much longer.

Non-Lighted Cruise Boards for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU4059,   SKU: KU4059

These boards look good on the bike a little bit of a tight fit getting them on. I have the lit version, wires are a little hard to hide. I'm 6'-2" tall and want to get the 2 1/2" stand offs so my legs cleared the faring when riding, but there are no stand off that fit according to customer service. I think by the reviews this is a bit of a issue with these boards.
Looks are nice, but comfort is the reason you put them on. If I had Air deflectors on the bike it would be really uncomfortable, without them they do work and add the extra postioning for those long rides but your calves are agianst the fairing.
